1. Well looks like I just bought a GK amp from here !
2. See who is on at Ronnie Scott's, Nothing But The Blues, Jazz Cafe (also in Camden).
3. It's a whole new world of GAS ! I too have a Focusrite Saffire Scarlett 18i6 on my main computer, and a weenie Apogee ONE for my MacBook.
4.
We have three thicknesses of bass guitar size bag, which will nicely accomodate that - 5mm, 10mm or 20mm of the more dense foam, the last also having extra velcro-in squashy pads for extra fitting and protection. Standard prices £19.40, 28.16 and 66.36 respectively, I feel a BC special coming on..
Ta. Is "WE" The Music Room ? (Sorry, I have no idea as I only joined yesterday) Tribal Planet bags ? If the Fusion one I've ordered takes too long to arrive I'll cancel and try one of those.
5. Wotcher ! Not pushed, but it's very quiet gigwise. The Bass is to enable me to double up instruments when we can't get an upright player for the Django band - there's usually enough guitarists
6. Middle of nowhere, nearest town is Tring.
7. Hello Recently signed up. Gear (not a lot bass-wise) - a Yamaha BEX4 (had a an SBV500 in the past) - POD XT Pro & Boss VF1 for recording/practice. (Loads of guit*rs) Interests: Jazz, mainly Swing, Gypsy and Bebop. Perhaps some Rock/Blues eventually.
8. Dimensions of my Yamaha BEX4 are ... Length: 118cm Depth: 7cm Upper Bout: 29.5cm Lower bout: 39cm
9. I'll have to get the tape measure out - it is a 34" scale. Will report back
10. Newb question: Any suggestions for housing a Yamaha Bex4 bass. I've just won one off Ebay and want to house it in something better than the box it came in. Acoustic bass cases/bags look too deep to me, but happy to be proved wrong. Ta for answers & tolerance ......
