Wow , are this lot still going ? I saw them opening for Rush , it must be nearly twenty years ago , and people were booing and throwing stuff at them .

Yeah! They are absolutely amazing live too.

They basically absorbed Big Business - - a while back and are a crazy super-band now.

I recommend this as a taste of the new sound (plus a tasty Bass intro):

  2. Melvins- The Bit

The live version of this is ridiculous.

  3. EDIT: Trade Value £45

Looking to trade away my EHX Bass Big Muff Pi.

It's only around a year old, bought new from GAK. Still in great condition, just missing a single washer on the dry-out which can be easily replaces, but makes little to no difference.

I love this little beast, but now I'm back in a two-piece band my Tech 21 Double Drive has taken its spot.

Open to any and all offers, hopefully something interesting or weird.

I think I am going to build my own cabs; Build a butted box (non dovetailed), single port and 2 x 10" driver cutouts, central support between the drivers.....How hard can it be?

    Firstly - Pine or MDF?

    Fixed or floating baffle board?

    What works best?

Alternatively, I have 2 empty Peavey 210 tx cabs sitting around. Pm me if you're interested!

  5. Hello all.

Haven't been on here for a few years. Thought I'd say hi before racking up too many posts.

I got my first ever live rig from this forum, and now I'm back playing in a two piece (bass&drums) I found myself gravitating back this way. One day, and I'm already £150 deep in new stuff.

If you like your music weird and noisy (Jesus Lizard, Big business, Torche), you might like the noises I make in Hellish Flavours - http://www.facebook.com/HellishFlavours

Looking forward to getting back into the swing of things and spending all my hard earned cash.

    Dan
