  1. it is a fantastic sounding bass tho
  2. no it’s not a shorter scale so guy must be big 😂
  3. thanks mark it’s lovely and really needs to be played so hopefully someone can give it a new home
  4. this is my 5 , exactly same control wise
  5. i think most peeps run them in active and there a huge range of tones to be had from it
  6. these are switching arrangements SWITCHING Knobs 1-2 are volume controls and passive/active switch: Knob 1: Neck pickup volume. Down = Active, Up = Passive If this knob is up and Knob 2 is down only the neck pickup (passive) is heard Knob 2: Bridge pickup volume. Down = Active, Up = Passive If this knob is up and Knob 1 is down only the bridge pickup (passive) is heard. If both knob 1 and knob 2 are in the up position, both pickups (passive) are heard. Knobs 3-5 are a 3-band EQ control: Knob 3: Bass EQ. Functions with pickups in active mode. Knob 4: Mid EQ. Functions with pickups in active mode. Knob 5: Treble EQ. Functions with pickups in active mode. The bass will function passively without batteries as well.
  7. pulling the volume control up turns it into passive , but i’ve never used it in passive as i prefer active mode
  8. yes it’s superb , i’ve got a 5 string version of it which i use and haven’t used this since i’ve had 5 but theve got great tone control and strong pick ups
  9. 2014 prs american made gary grainger 4 string , orange tiger front finish , maple neck with bird inlays ,superb player , any trials welcome , only selling as i’m using 5 strings these days
  10. Tried weighing it but didn’t show , I would think about 9 lbs
  11. Wasn’t sure what the fretboard wood was , I’ve had it so many years I couldn’t remember
  12. Warwick streamer nt4 , this is a German made model built at what is acknowledged as the best era of these basses , this was made in 90 a limited edition at the time ,it has a flamed maple top and neck I think ovankol fretboard and is loaded with Bartlaloni soap bar pickups , I have owned numerous Warwick’s and had this since 90, it’s in v good condition for the year , the neck is straight and the thinnest and fastest of all of the ones I’ve owned and is a pure joy to play , it also featured the adjust a nut which in this era was brass not plastic , the reason I’m selling and it’s with a very heavy heart as I’ve owned it for over 30 yrs is it is sitting on the wall and this needs playing , any questions or trials just ask , not interested in trades
  13. Lovely guitar , plays beautifully as I was the previous owner
  14. I’m now looking at lugs in ears with 2 bass , mow mid, hi mid and treble , people seem to like them any experience on here
