  1. Yeah I was thinking about that but always preferred a maple fret and seems a shame to refinish if I will change anyway eventually. Would like to keep it as original as poss for trade or sale purposes. Looking at an active but not sure about robustness as gigging loads at mo. any views?
  2. Hi Guys, Looking to swap my Fender USA Jazz (RW) for a jazz with MN and a dark body colour. I love the sound but never really got on with the look (stands out a bit in red) and much prefer maple fretboard. Anyway, I have it in my head that another fender usa jazz is the only way to go but I am very uneducated about what else is on the market. Any views on alternative jazz style basses or any good fender products (Marcus Miller etc?) looking a budget of about £750. I play mainly blues/rock with some soul. Play with fingers and pick. Any advice would be welcomed. Thanks
  3. Hi Guys, USA Fender Jazz in red with white scratch & rosewood fret inc fender fitted hard case. I also have a VM Squier 70's Jazz in natural/blond finish with tweed case. Both are in very good condition and available for trade or sale. Looking for a nice USA jazz with maple fretboard and a dark or natural body finish. I prefer maple fretboards and love the playability of the VM but can't afford not to play the USA for the tone it gives live. I bought the VM for the look which is great but it does not get a look in with the USA and I have another spare. If there is any genuine interest I will sort pictures etc. Trade value for both around £750.
