I’ve had 2 bb2005’s and a bbne2. There’s no comparison. The Ne model electronics and tone is a different level. It’s atill my go to bass.

Impeccable Yamaha BB2005 5-string bass, neck-through, monorail, active, black. Production year 2004, serial number QKJ049060. Nathan East Style, amasold due to tennis elbow. Accompanied by hard case, barely used recent new frets and barely used Daddario black nylon strings.

Few light scratches on the back. Look worse on the pics. I haven't owned this long but it is amazing. I'm only selling to upgrade to rhe BBNE2. These basses are really superb.

Yeah by far my fave basses.

I have bought it. It's very nice. To be honest I already have a BBN2. I love these basses. I could be tempted to sell it already as I'm now thinking of getting another Nathan east one.
