7. I have 4 basses at the moment..a deluxe fernandes gravity through neck,a schecter hellraiser through neck , a Yamaha trbx all 5 strings ,I feel these are all top basses ..so why do I keep rehearsing and gigging my cheap aria gt ...I can't be the only one, can I ????
8. Picked up a white one ....for the money it's awesome...cannot fault at all....
9. Spent 25 years with 4s...moved to a fiver because of the style of music about a year ago...have never looked back and I'm now Next to hopeless on a 4...if your starting out I'd go 5 string,..but it's all down to how you feel about neck width and string spacing... I've just bought a Yamaha trbx 505....really nice neck....
10. Gigs this bass last night...decided to keep...think this is a very understated bass...it may be a bit to "metal" for some folks...I've had most basses from stingrays ,Warwicks, spectors, shuker, sandberg, mayones and more..and this competes well..maybe I need to join a metal band...
11.
I have to say I was very tempted by your Schecter but went for a "safer" Yamaha instead; only because I know Yamaha's do solid great value basses - Schecter used to be superb in the 80's but now I've no idea what they're like or sound like now - I like the look of it though
exactly why mines 4th in the queue as I've just bought a great Yamaha....
