Moreover you heard "flat" sound (both pickups in "parallel" and controls in central tick - you can boost or cut bass/mid/treble frequencies, control the balance and select each pickup for working in "parallel", "series" or "anti phase").. The inlay has not a particular meaning, but it remembers a sign as a in signature model. pm replied.
