1. Anyone? Maybe you know a good luthier etc who could do this. Any help would be a great help. Thanks, Damon
2. Dear Bassmates! Firstly, Happy New Year! And I hope it will be a bassentric year for all! Secondly, I want to get some brass-ware from one of my basses professionally cleaned up to a sparkling new condition. I made some inquiries and my local bass emporium, here in North West London, and they said they don't take that kind of work on so I thought I'd ask you lovely Basschat peeps where you'd recommend me sending it to. Any takers? Thanks, Damon
3. I love slap and think it should be used more liberally, especially to spice up boring rock tracks.

9. I usually like my bass sounds a bit more trebly but the bass sound fits well. I really like both versions. Ace tune and great playing.

19. Up for sale is a fantastic bass that dates from around 79/80. It's a Jaydee Supernatural. This is what John Diggins says about the bass: "This bass is one of the very early ones, possibly late 70's or very early 80's. It was well before we started to keep records of our instruments. The wood on the front is Rose Zibrano. The MK Classic Series 1 did evolve from this bass." I have been reliably informed (see link to post on L42 Web Digest) that this bass was actually one of a pair and was originally fretless. It has the pre - MK Series 2 body shape with the PU placement that would be later used on the MK Series 1 model. Apart from No. 001, there are the ONLY 3 Jaydees with this 'Alembic' style headstock. As you can see from the pictures the bass is in fantastic condition with all original hardware (i.e. original circuit and pick-ups) and original flight case. If you want the sound of the early tapes then this is your bass. It truly is a collectors item. £1800 + p&p for this piece of Jaydee history. (The bass is on sale elsewhere) Cheers DamonUK
