9. Hey, I'm very suprised about the quality of the translation. Still is sometimes weird, but the best I've seen so far. Cool! Tom
10. Hello, Hallo und "Dankeschön". Thanks for the warm welcome! Hallo Michael (the german folks know me)!
11. Hello, i found this community by accident (as i explained in a different post i was stumbling across a topic in basschat while googling informations about a band called "Vintage Trouble")... and here i am. really nice and informative community. I'm a (of course) a bassplayer from Wiesbaden (a town in Germany, near Frankfurt). I'm also a bass teacher in my own music school and i wrote three bass instruction books, called www.four-strings.de , because they go along with an accompanying website, which was pretty new ten years ago when the first book was released. The first book has been translated into english and also an english version of the website has been made. http://www.four-strings.com/ I must admit that i haven't updated this website for a long time and it looks pretty ugly, but since the sales of the german issues are much higher, I'm very busy in updating my german websites. http://www.four-strings.de/ Since two years I'm running a bass-blog with lots of transcriptions and a few bass-lessons. My aim is to post a new transcription every week (weekly basslines), but honestly i sometimes have to skip a week due too much work at my music school. 12. I'm running a blog with "weekly basslines". It's in german but you can still benefit from the transcriptions i made. http://four-strings-...ns.blogspot.de/
13. I bought the CD last week, and pretty enthusiastic about my "new" discovery (i think i'm always a little delayed ;-) i googled information about the band and amongst several links i found this post in basschat. since i'm a bassplayer and bassteacher from germany (that might explain some weird expressions that i use) and run a blog with "weekly basslines" i immediatly transcribed a few of the songs from "the bomb shelter sessions". here is my effort on the song "Nobody Told Me": http://four-strings-basslessons.blogspot.de/2012/10/weekly-basslines-88-nobody-told-me.html the blog is in german language, but you can still benefit from the "dots and tabs" i also did "Hand Me Down Blues" http://four-strings-...nd-me-down.html "bass regards" StageAhead
