  1. Hi
Had similar issue with intermittent loss of volume and buzzing on certain notes . Initially thought it was valves as when connected using the slave output thus bypassing the preamp issue went away ..on second attempt to fix turned out 2 resistors went bad..problem solved
    All the best
    Mick.

  2. Handmade boutique pedal from Japan in good condition .
Here's the blurb. Obviously will post.

The Rust Ride was designed to provide the Bassist with a functional, professional-quality overdrive without compromising note clarity or low-end response. The Rust Ride’s components were painstakingly selected in order to maintain the original Bass tone and note attack/release dynamics that are typically lost with other OD units.

Its preset EQ offers three different frequency curves without altering the overall frequency operation range, providing voicing options that can’t be achieved w/a normal tone control. Passive and Active inputs allow the Rust Ride to operate with any type of Bass while individual Dry and Effect outputs offer routing of clean Bass tone to a tuner, P.A. system, or a second amplifier.

    Input Impedance: Approx. 500K-ohm
    Output Impedance: Approx. 100K-ohm
    Controls: Level, 3-Position mini EQ
    Switch: (Normal, Bright, Warm)
Power: DC9V Adaptor Jack (Negative Tip)
Switching: True Bypass ON/OFF Footswitch with LED
    Size: 121(L) x 86(W) x 36(H) mm (excluding knob, switches, and jacks)

  3. For Trade a Jazz custom from an up and coming guy in Ireland .He originally specialized in guitars but definitely has a flair for the 4 strings as you can see. Very very versatile instruments thanks to the option of the J Retro deluxe preamp. The photos are just a taster, will add more later The cost of the hardware was 450 alone split as noted below

    Specs
Swamp Ash Body with a Lime Ash Top
    Chambered Body
    Graphite rods in neck
    Abalone Dots
    Di Marzio Pickups :£70
    Gotoh Bridge : £60
    Hipshot Ultralite Tuners : £110
    J Retro deluxe Preamp : £210
    £ 450 in hardware alone

One of his first basses he has made.
Would prefer a Trade and willing to add cash for the right bass.
Note: This has a precision type neck for those that prefer a chunkier feel..not quite a precision type but not a skinny jazz either.halfway

    800 for cash deal
    1000 as trade value
    All the best,
    Mick.
