I remember you coming to our house in Great Rollright 😀

Here is my very lovely 2013 Ibanez SR500.  It's a cracking bass with only a few age related marks.  There are no dings or knocks just a bit of play wear and a bit of patina where your arm rests on the body.  Here's a few details:

Lightweight Mahogany body.  Just over 3kg on my scales. 

Jatoba and Wenge neck.

Rosewood Fretboard with 24 frets.

38 mm at the nut.  

Bartolini Mk1 passive soapbar pickups.

EQB 3 band eq.

Accu-Cast bridge.

19 mm string spacing.  34" Scale.

Ibanez die cast machine heads.

This is a lovely played in bass.  It looks, sounds and plays lovely.   It's another that has to go as l struggle with Arthritis and full scale length. 

l would like £350 ONO for it please.  No trades thanks. l live in Catterick village,  North Yorkshire.   I would prefer cash on collection but l will post at the buyers expense.   I prefer it if you arrange your own courier.   I'll pack it properly for shipping.

Good Morning BCers 

I need help please.  I’ve practiced for years with a Vox Amplug,  wired headphones and an iPad using songs on You Tube.

Is there a wireless set up that l can use to practice with.  I’m sick of the wires.

I’m pretty hopeless with technology so something simple/easy to understand would be great.

Here is my lovely, excellent 2020 Squier Paranormal Jazz Bass in vintage Butterscotch Blonde.  It really is lovely and l can’t find a mark on it.  It plays sounds and looks really lovely with a nice low action and plenty of tonal variation.   It comes in a nearly new no name but very good hard case.  It came with a black scratch plate and I've put on a white marble effect one.  No additional holes needed.  I don't want any trades thanks I'm still struggling with Arthritis and got this for one last try.  I live in Catterick near Richmond, North Yorkshire and prefer cash on collection.   I will box up securely for courier if you arrange it.  I would like £300 ONO please.

I have a Paranormal with a black scratch plate.  The scratch plate is far too shiny.  What can l do to take the edge off it without spoiling it?  Is it just a case of really soft wire wool or are there any other things l can do.

I'm struggling a bit with Arthritis in my fretting hand thumb.  I have a hospital appointment on 19th which l hope will sort it for a while.  I'm doing a monthly open mic with my friend, only 3 songs but it keeps me playing.  I’m glad you're still playing mate.  Onwards and upwards 👍
