I don't think so. You'll probably end up with well in excess of 20. Most if not all of us expect a flexible payout. That's how it's worked in the past. We pay our fair share.

See you on Sunday.

The TC BG250 would be great. I`m sure many of us have looked at these a few times on-line, in the flesh - make that wood/tolex - would be great.

4. Wow , small world , i used to go to Breaks every Monday when I was a nipper and make a racket that could only loosely be called "music" , whilst learning the politics of playing in a band ...
Lived in Hatfield for 30+ years , and parents still live there , so i really have no excuses not to attend , i can guitar or drum if required too ...
the date is in the diary !

5. Hi Jal
Nice to see you over here , I spend more time here than MR these days (since taking over the Bass in the functions band )
I didn't realise you played Bass as well , did you jump or were you pushed (like me)?

Are you still playing in your Django band ?
I bought an electric upright off TTony at MR with the intention of learning some Swing/Djano stuff but have yet to get round to it ...
Regards
Stu

6. Having seen this post , I checked google to see if there was a local Ukulele group to me , a few emails later and I've just got back from my first meet up , all went well (I'm playing acoustic bass guitar) wide range of tunes , the, organizer was very pleased to have some bass in the mix .
this is going to be fun ! :)

The sound that defined the early pop revolution in UK was Hank's intro to Move It. Turned a whole generation on to the electric guitar, Bert notwithstanding!
I'm fairly certain Hank didn't play on Move it , the intro has always been credited to sessioneer Ernie Shear , with rhythm played by Ian Samwell , Hank and the other 'Drifters' as they were then didn't play on the first few Cliff records .

8. I just took delivery of Peters old V-drums kit , bombproof packaging with every thing helpfully labelled , all comms have been great , friendly and over and above the call of duty .
Delivery arranged to suit my schedule , and even some after sales service with the offer of help to talk me through setting it all up .
I'm very pleased to have done this deal .
Buy with confidence guys !

9. Great playing Jake , I'm currently loving the MJ basslines and you've done a brilliant job , not sure I'm convinced by the rest of the band , but loved your work .
Also as a result had a looky at the Superstition vid , ace stuff !

10. Just bought a Washburn AB20 from Dan , nice easy sale , Dan came some of the way to meet up which saved me doing the Dartford crossing , top bloke !
Wouldn't hesitate to recommend dealing with him .
Thanks again Dan

11. James Jamerson
Paul McCartney
Norman Watt-Roy

John Deacon
Bernard Edwards
'Duck' Dunn
Larry Knechtel (or until recently as i knew him "the bloke on bass on the Bridge Over troubled Water album")
Bob Babbit
