That's lush
You must be so proud of your work, any sound lips we can enjoy?
Of course I'm proud of my work, everything went as I wanted.
Maybe sound clips will happen later, not right now. -

Wonderful! I can't get the "More Details" link to work, though. I would love to see more about the build.

Strange! The link works fine for me.

I finished another DIY build last weekend:
Left handed fretless with a stainless steel finger board.

I get the feeling I've overlooked something rather obvious and it's defo not going to work as a straightforward 'bolt-on and go'.
Yes something rather important, scale length, if the neck is four frets longer and you're placing the bridge at the standard P position the fret positions will be way of. -
Some more headless lefty's.
Mine to be more exact.

de afwerking mk1-6 - another DIY project.
Steinberger Spirit XT-25, with some small modifications - I added a EMG BTC preamp and made a thumb rest. -
Westone Thunder I.
I'm the first and only owner, I bought it new somewhere in 1982, it was my first serious bass and I've modified the crap out of it over the years. -
On my lefty RG4001, 22 fret version, the nut width is 42 millimeters, I assume the RG4300 is the same.

From this:
To this:
Maybe not a true refinish, more a rebuild, but it sure looks different.

And this one arrived from Thomann today. -
Headless? I've build two myself.

The low C is on the second fret, what looks like the first fret is actually the top nut.

Some detail pictures.

And it is finished.

Starting to look like a bass.

No, I don't have soundfiles, sorry.

My Jazz's.
Squier VM, Changed out the neck with my other VM and defretted it, modified the controls to volume-balance-tone, replaced the stock bridge with a Hipshot bridge and made a new pickguard.
My other VM, put in a set of Hanson Chi-Sonic pickups, modified the controls to volume-balance-tone, replaced the stock bridge with a Hipshot bridge and made a new pickguard.
Richwood Jocker Pro, a "Jazz-ish" bass, very nice bass for its price.
Needed a proper shielding and grounding though, modified the controls to volume-balance-tone, replaced the stock bridge with a Hipshot bridge and made a new pickguard.
My personal tribute to Leo Fender.
I build this one myself, 36/32 inch scale, Delano pickups and Glockenklang 2 band preamp. -
I'm busy with the next one.
Fanned, single cut five string.
The idea:
Where I am at the moment (roughly).

Thanks, I've been lurking around here on Basschat for quiet a while, today I found this topic and since my basses are the subject it needed an answer from me.

Short scale by the looks of things.
I'm also liking the Tune-influenced 8-string although the bridge doesn't look as though it has separate saddles for each string in the course which will make it impossible to intonate properly.
Actually, long scale, 35 inch.
How do I know you might ask... well, I've build and designed these basses.
The 8 string doesn't have separate saddles for two reasons, number is one that the intonation is not that critical, I did some quick and dirty experiments with separate intonation to discover this, and number two is I haven't come up with a design yet that I like that is easy to fabricate and also easy to adjust.
