Great basses. I have owned a few but they are heavy. This is a great price!

Do you mean the USA made ones? I know those and the original Rob DeLeo signature model which active emg’s were as they had ash bodies I believe.
this one is very manageable, I’ll have to get the scales on it but I wouldn’t say it is heavy at all.

  2. Schecter diamond model T, modelled on the bass designed by Robert DeLeo of stone temple pilots.
has original Seymour Duncan pickups (I believe these are the spb2) giving great dynamic range.
This bass is so good I bought it twice. I sold it in a moment of GAS, and then spent several years trying to find it again. Very reluctant sale due to not playing anymore.
collection preferred from Warrington or possible meet up

  3. Up for sale is this amazing fender highway one precision. Not a massive fan of p basses personally, but this is one of the best I’ve played, and very reluctantly selling as I’m not playing anymore.
nitro is wearing in the usual places giving a very tasteful roadworn look, currently strung with flat wounds for old school warm thump.
collection preferred but can potentially arrange a meet up somewhere.

  4. Up for sale is my boosey and hawkes excelsior 3/4 double bass.
I’ll start by saying that I bought this to learn upright after being an electric player, how hard could it be right? Keeping in mind, I’m no expert on uprights, but apart from the items listed here, to me at least, this plays and sounds great and has a nice low action. I was using this to play country/americana and it fit the sound really well.
it has a vic’s dual piezo pickup and adjustable bridge, strung with eurosonic ultra lite synthetic gut strings.
things to note, this is an old bass built in the 70’s and has had some bumps and scrapes as I have tried to show in the pics, no serious dings or holes. The neck finish is starting to come away, but does not affect the playablility as far as I can tell. the bridge had to be modified in order to use a pickup for a gig (yes is did it your Honour) and while the bass is functional, I’d recommend getting a new one and having it professionally fitted.
the pickup will require a preamp for use, I have been using a Fishman platinum plus pro eq which I also have for sale in the effects section.
collection only due to size, welcome to come and try.
    £475

  5. Ashdown mi bass 2.0. Great little 400w  class D amp. I bought this (previously owned) to have as a backup amp for gigs as it’s small enough to fit in a back pack.
will come in a repurposed drill hard case which serves its purpose.
has some scuff, but works as it should.
£80 collected from Warrington, I’d need to check postage if required but would imagine somewhere in the £10-15 range.

  6. Up for sale is my stingray 5 in natural with piezo pickup. Just not being used at the moment due to other basses taking priority so it needs to go to a more deserving home.
Amazing stingray tones, but the piezo gives it a little more versatility.
some small blemishes here and there which I will photograph in more detail.
competitively priced st £1250, collection preferred but can arrange meet up within reason.

  7. Please remove if not appropriate, but I have just read the sad news of the passing of fellow bc member Dov65.
I’m sure some of us have spoken to or done deals with him over the years, and I personally have found him to be a very generous, kind, and funny bloke and will miss him greatly.
I just thought I’d let everyone know who isn’t connected to him via other means.
