  1. Hi Douglas, mission sucessfully accomplished! The springs on my Mondeo breath a sigh of relief, Giggle moves on to pastures new and French..... Great to meet you both on Wednesday, even though the Thunder Gods followed me all the way back to Germany! I'm sure that Giggles will bring your audience and you an abundance of extremely loud low frequecies and and regular usage of Deep Heat, repectively....... Pleasure to do business with you, Now must start replacing those broken floorboards where it stood....................... Martin
  2. I had an old (seriously cr..ppy) DB from my school, discovered the Bass guitar and only many years later realised again that it's the feel of the DB, the strings, the board, as well as the sound that's utterly addictive............
  3. Ha! just got off the phone with "Scammel stupendously Big Crane Hire" to arrange for loading Giggles into the car for next week. Can't see what all the fuss is about........... Last time I lifted thsi cab was a few weeks ago .... (stitches come out on Monday)
  4. Gotta new Ashdown Evo MAG 300 and MAG 2X10, both boxed with foam and all packing, used once for £180 and £160 repectively? Interested in one of these as a PX? Cheers
  5. Indeed! looks like "Giggles" will soon have a new home (so named as its a loada fun to move about) I still think Garden Shed is a good*un..............although be a shame to paint it, the Vinyl used is super tough in mock Alligator pattern (wierd) Look forward to meeting you Douglas A Bientot!
  6. Indeed The matters of Politics, Religion and Bass should always be considered as equal in the ways of man........ Have sent a pm The H/H could be going on holiday!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  7. Hmmm I drive through northern France every two weeks; through Lille, if thats any help.............. (Otherwise, the thing will slowly destroy the floorboards and head towards the earths fiery core..........)
  8. I can't sleep at night..........................., I'm off my food........................ and even a monster-strength triple Vindaloo with extra Domestos seems tame....................... therefore the price is lowered to an unbelievable, incredible, unrepeatable 55 squid or something nearby...............
  9. Ta! Will give it a go (saves stamping my foot) Thanks for the advice!
  10. Hmmmmm ta got an earphone output, not sure if this would be compatible as an input for the Stagg?
  11. OK Same thread different question; I can't find any mention of this in other Stagg threads: Does anyone know of a digital Metronome that has an output compatible with the MP3 input socket on the Stagg? - I know a rythm machine like a Boss can be plugged into anp along with the Stagg and then a headphone socket used, but I'lm tryng to avoid having to use an external amp? Cheers!
  12. It sits in my far-too-small lounge, getting dusted and looking monumental...........................
  13. What you need is a nice, large H/H bass bin to hide behind.......................... (worth a try)
  14. I've got a TC 450 classic and 2 Vanderkley 1X12 Neolites, Brilliant sound and very loud; together - enough for most gigs including outdoors. 1 1X12 and the amp is truly lightweight and plenty loud enough for small gigs, It can easily keep up with a noisy drummer. The Vanderkleys are very light too, the TC seems to work very well with them, they're very linear cabs. Highly recommended
  15. Theres an H/H Mosfet Bass amp on EBay............... Not that I'm trying to tempt you.............
