I like suffocation but i havnt heard that album. I tell you what a new band im going to be in wants to cover full body autopsy by necrophagist. its pretty hard he is a well good bass player as well.

Yeah there is a guy on the Alembic forum who has a swith on his bass that does nothing so every time someone asks for a more Fender like tone he flicks that. says it works every time

the thing with dolphins is i think they nver look right in a case or on a wall but when someone is playing one it looks perfect. put a pic up with you playing it and we will see if im right or full of rubbish

i loved the roland cube i tried if i ever have enough money to have a practice amp and my main amp i am getting one of those

it says on the side of the pedal 1.3Aso its a power hungry little thing. no luck finding a replacement in my local shops but i emailed maplin to see what they recommend

the plug i am using is only 300mA that might explain it im glad i was getting worried thanks guys

on mine it def says 9VAC looking at the website it is a different plug from what usually comes with a digitech pedal

Hi just bought a whammy pedal off ebay its the whammy 4 version. A plug is supposed to come with it but the seller had lost it. i got it home and tried it with one of my changable volt plugs from currys and it just made it sound like my bass battery is going dead.

I tried the bass with no pedal and it fine.

it says on it 9VAC-50/60HZ 1.3A

If i need a special plug anyi deas where i can get one from?

ok cool i won a fz-2 on flea bay for £20 not bad. I went for one of these after reading a few reviews and i like the fact it is discontinued.I will wait n try it if i dont like it i may look into a metalzone.

skiing lizard id love to try out zvex but this is just for the audition and a jam so i cant justify the expenditure.

next on my list is a whammy pedal.

your right musky yeah i wrote it backwards but i new what i meant. it was getting late.

i bought 2 the bass distortion and chorus the distortion was pretty good but the chorus wouldnt turn off haha i never opened it to try and fix it tho

stanleys most recent Alembic had the neck custom carved to his spec by them and even they have started selling him basses with no strap pins so he can do it himself.

they do 2 a super fuzz and an ultra fuzz the ultra being the fz 2 copy has anyone tried it?

my zoom b2.u pedal died on me the other day after very little use the up switch stopped working. So i did the normal male thing in a vein hope of something blatent wrong with it and started taking it to bits.

I noticed the switch wasnt touching the pad bit very well, so i slid a peice of card in between and it worked.

So that leads me to ask what are your best and most inventive gear fixes?

yeah its not a bad idea that im looking for a fz-2 first. they r discontinued so bidding on ebay just now
