1. American made Musicman Sterling. Everything you'd expect with a 3 band eq and series/parrelell/single switch. Lovely bass and sorry to see it go
Bass weighs 6lbs

Comes with hard case

Trades for big valve amps and G&L/US P basses

2. Barefaced 2x15, can't remember the model name. Sounds HUGE, makes low wattage valve amps very very loud and SS amps insane, can be carried in 1 hand due to being super light weight. It's also got kick back wheels and side/top handles for easy transport. Includes cover
Measures 62x34x100cm

Trade wise i'm after a Barefaced 1x15 compact plus cash or Two 10, a good 4x10 maybe.

Southampton based but i travel around quite a bit.

3. This has been a running project over the past couple of years and has been a real secret weapon when recording. All the work has been done by a well respected engineer in Bournemouth and has been well tested at various gigs over the last year.

Channel 1 is just valve gain, great for pedals or stacking into channel 2 with the flick of a switch adding mild grit to near on fuzz
Channel 2 is a B15 style baxandall 2 band tone stack. It's got all the compression you'd expect without getting too dirty.
Channel 3 is the bass channel from a blackface Fender bassman, great for drive pedals. This channel also has a bass boost switch

The transformers are huge, larger than on my 200 watt Fenders and with the added fan the 100 watt output stage is able to cleanly keep up with anything in it's pint sized chassis.

Valve complement is 4 12AX7s and 4 EL34s

Collection preferred, I'm in Southampton.

dimensions are; 30 cm deep, 25 high and 48 wide

Trades possible, I'm selling off everything to fund high end compressor and preamp pedals but I'm also after a Mcmillen 12 step

Japanese made from '88. Passive with upgraded SD's, fast neck without being too thin. Includes original hard case

Southampton based.

Trades for compressors, Keith Macmillan 12 step, drive pedals like a dark glass or Billy Sheehan EBS

Collection preferred, insured 1-2 UPS postage £30

5. PRICE DROP £550

Another odd ball amp from Fender. Only a twin in name from the cabinet it was originally in but now removed from. Tonally its very similar to the Studio Bass as they share the same circuit design, think classic Ampeg SVT more than Fender but at 2/3rds the power and half the weight.

Valve complement is; 3 12AX7s, 1 12AU7, 1 12AT7 and 6 6L6GCs

I'm Southampton based and demos are welcome

Trades for high end compressor and preamp pedals plus cash or a Macmillan 12 step plus cash
Collection is preferred but i can deliver for fuel and tea costs.

Bit of an odd ball amp produced for 3 years for '77-'80. Like a Bassman but with almost twice the power and a built in valve driven second EQ. Works really well as a bed for pedals or just a huge valve tone for plug and play.

JohnK did a great write up; http://johnkvintageg...StudioBass.html
