1.
Not everybody likes Sandberg's but I think mine's a beautifully crafted instrument. And I'm no endorsee. Apologies for the crap picture but right now I can't be bothered to switch on the macro and take an arty one. Reduced 97% 1944 x 2592 (1018.33K)
Wow that Sandberg jazz is actually a bit sexy!
On page 2 of this part of the forum, there's a thread titled "Sandberg". Quite a few comments there, all of them favourable
Cheers 7string i'll go check it out! Will
 2. Hey I found a Sandberg Basic in my local guitar shop and was wondering how good they are as I know nothing about them...? I've really been craving the musicman tone without the price of a stingray and I played on the Sandberg yesterday and I have to say it was very nice indeed! It's either this or I've looked into getting a G&L bass although I don't know how much they are or where to get them from! Any other ideas welcome on decent musicman-like basses! Cheers, Will
 3. Howdy folks, I recently put my Urge II in for a set up at a local guitar shop and enquired about getting the hardware being changed as I'd like to change it for some black hardware and get a hipshot on the E string. Apparently the bridge is shorter than standard american Fender bridges and so the Badass III i planned on getting is out the window, could anyone please give me ideas on other bridges shorter than the badass that might possibly fit the Urge II? Also the thuners have a strange fitting so again any ideas are welcome if anyone has any? I don't know exactly whats strange about the fitting or how much shorter the bridge but I'm hoping theres someone knowledgable on here who can help me out! Thanks Will

 7.
Welcome to BC Will I recently started jamming down at the Running Frog in Windsor. Good rehearsal studio. Nice blokes ... a bit pricey though.
Yeah the running frog is a nice studio but like you say its expensive like everything else in Windsor is!
Hey Will. You gots an Urge? Coolio!
Yeah man, Urges are so good...you got one? The only tone I can't properly produce with is is the stingray tone, can get close but not quite on the money! I'll post a review sometime soon. Thanks for all the welcomes so far guys! Will
 8. Hey Guys and Gals My names Will, im from Windsor (near London) and am in a band called Without Risk. I used to belong to Bassworld but due to college and work had to put the bass down for a bit, now playing again (and re learning a lot of stuff!) i was shocked to see Bassworld was no longer in existance! I currently play a Fender Stu Hamm Urge II which is currently having a little bit of work done on it to make it look even sexier and play even better than it already does, IMHO it actually is the greatest bass ever made! I also have an Ibanez GSR205 and a Peavey Milestone III which are both pretty good solid basses. As far as amps go im buying an Ashdown Mag600 head to be paired with an Ashdown Mag-410T and a Mag-115T. I'm borrowing a mates Eden Nemesis combo which is actually a bloody good amp but i wanted to get myself a decent rig. I'll post some pics of my basses and amp when I get the Urge back and the amp all setup. Cheers for reading hopefully chat to you all soon! Will
