  1. 'In the eye of the beholder and all such like. 😉
  2. Now you're back to my earlier thread of the one that got away. Lovely bass: can understand the regret.
  3. These two: SRV5 30th and piezo SRV. The third is an impostor.
  4. Classy if you ask me. Never give up the search my friend. It's out there somewhere.
  5. Now a Roscoe Beck V is a lovely thing. Been chasing one in CAR for ages. " Moving forward" sounds a good, healthy attitude though.👍
  6. Maybe should have listed 'hair' as the one that got away. 🤔
  7. If I were in that boat, I'd look 20 years younger! 😂
  8. You are more than welcome. I thought you'd like that site. Good luck with your search.
  9. Sounds like some kind of thermal sensor has decided the amp is now at a temperature requiring fan-cooling to kick-in. It will stay 'on fan', until switched off and given time to cool again.
  10. Love it. You've got it bad Andy!
  11. Never played a Hayman - have owned a Shergold double-neck which may have had similarities? Never even heard of a Frontier though. You never know who's reading this and if they might contact you. How good would that be? Good luck.
  12. Fair comment. I too have sold three WALS and don't miss them.
  13. Me too tbh, but somehow, that Fender ... ...
  14. Perhaps correct if it's being used. Let's hope it has a good home
  15. https://www.basschat.co.uk/profile/11876-dad3353/ see above please
  16. Dad3353 I know it's not the model you are chasing, and this one is sold, BUT the guy who runs this lesser-know shop is a Hofner fanatic. Might be worth your while dropping him a note to see if he can help? Good luck. His contact is: https://www.vintagerareandretro.co.uk/news
  17. I feel your pain already. I didn't think I'd be suffering alone. To think these may all be out there, under a bed, unloved, unplayed. I can't take it any more. Sob!😭
  18. Glad to help
  19. We've most likely all got a bass we sold/swapped/'lost' due to a bout of acute GAS or such madness. I'll start my confession with the fact that I once had a 40th anniversary Fender CS Precision which was a wonderful machine. Alas, it's long gone, but will never be forgotten. Why, oh why? There are times I do such stupid things. Which bass do you regret parting company with? Photos?
  20. Mike, the 500 fan will activate after the amp has been driven a bit. Light noodling will not make it activate'. Hope this is clear enough?
