1. You need to download the free Flickr app from the iTunes Store - after that all will be revealed ))
2.
May be an idea to put your rough location on, somebodt ,may be able to buy and pick up?
Thanks, Karlfer. I'll do that now.
3. I've reduced my price for the P Bass. The upgrades: new scratch plate, control knobs and Elixir strings have really made this bass stand out. It is truly a lovely bass but not for me. I'm asking £625 plus postage.
4. Thanks Deanovw for adding the pics - don't know how you managed that. Hamfist - I sourced the plate and knobs from eBay. Regarding the price. Firstly, I see that GAK have the basic bass for £638 (typical, buy a bass and then see it cheaper elsewhere!!). Secondly, the scratch plate, knobs, Elite strings and the SKB hard case cost just over £165. So, I still think £715 is a fair price for the bass plus the extras.
5. Selling my virtually new Fender USA P Bass. I bought it fairly recently (early Christmas present to myself - couldn't trust Santa to get it right). Unfortunately, After just a couple of hours playing I'm finding the width of the neck too much for my small hands. So, straight back in it's case and sitting idle. I've changed the scratchplate for a vintage pearl and added two new control knobs, I've also put on new Elixir strings, which have had about 10 minutes play time! I will include the original white scratchplate and the two original knobs just in case you want to return the bass to standard. The bass comes with a deluxe Fender gig bag.
6. What!!!?? That's virtually giving it away! A bargain...
7.
Thanks, Schnozzalee. Couldn't agree more! Marleaux basses are superb with great playability - slim neck profile, comfortable and sounds that other basses can only dream about ;0)) There are a couple of trade offers in the mix but if someone wants to make me a cash offer then let me know.
This shouldn't still be here at this price! Marleaux basses are amongst the best for quality and sounds. Someone will be a very fortunate player to get their hands on this...
8. What a beauty! This has to be one of the most useable basses around. I love Gerald's work and, if I needed another Marleaux, this would be top of my list. A great bass for someone. Grab it quick!
9.
..........Don't think you're gonna ingratiate yourself with the BC fraternity with comments like that Mr NEWBIE....
Hey, no need to shout. You read the rules and guidelines for etiquette! I made an honest mistake and admitted so. I have no wish to ingratiate myself, as you call it, with people who are so unwelcoming downright discourteous.
10.
Indeed. Bad form that man. Read the rules!
Bad form?? Isn't it better to be informed rather than misinformed? OK, read the rules and as a newbie didn't know you could send PM's. Think the 'mean' looking smiley was necessary - bad form that man!
