- let us know how you get on. Only one more sleep for me ... thankfully I don't have an M5, so providing the chorus is half decent and it does over drive and fuzz close to my pedals I'll be chuffed. Is there a soft case available for this anywhere? or does it come with anything?

+1 for pressing on yourself ... you'll pick up some good tips on where to rest your thumb .. and finger positioning etc. from youtube .. the rest is all about playing and playing some more. Start with a few of your fav bands .. keep practising until you can master a couple of tunes you like. If you've got any guitarist and drummer friends .. once you've got a couple of tunes learned try and get a wee jam together. Playing with others was the kick up the backside I needed when learning.

Lucky boy! The music shops around me are fairly pants .. been a while since I've been in a great shop. Make sure you try out loads. Esp. the wee orange

I still can't wait for mine to come I've never really been a fan of over doing fx and my main priority is keeping the bottom end nice and defined and clear in the mix ... the fact most of the effects have a mix knob is a massive + for me personally.

I guess they / I just don't like the song? ... It is a pretty dull song for the most part (I don't just mean the bass line)... A few people have made comments along the lines of "you are in a covers band .. shut up and get on with it" ... I Do! It just it'd be wrong to not hate the odd song! ... I love most of the songs on my current bands set list .. it's just there are a few crowd pleasers we'd be wrong to drop ... but like I said have me hating the people on the dance floor! lol ... It is funny to see so many of the same tunes though!

I use a little korg pxd4 the ability to shift the pitch of the aux in is a god send for the covers band I'm in as we play with a drop tuning and have a female singer so have shifted the key of a number of songs. It's a great little unit though, pretty cheap as well ... Sounds pretty good through a hifi also.
