1. Recently bought this in on a bit of a whim but realise I really prefer Gibson style tones/feel. This is a 2009 American standard model in Fiesta Red with matching headstock. Unusual, but pretty cool with the rosewood fretboard. Apparently they were made in a limited run of 500 for the US market and 250 for European. Almost new condition apart from a slight rub mark/knock on the horn (see pic) and a few light surface marks when examined closely. Comes with a standard Fender hardshell case. Pics are of the guitar with '51 Nocasters in (not that you can tell) but I have since put back the stock pickups, which actually sound better to my ears. Would prefer collection (can meet in Southampton, Portsmouth or lymington) but will ship for an additional £25 at your own risk. Open to trades. Price drop to SOLD. Cheers
 2.
Just wondered if a '72 Streamliner would be of interest?
Thanks for the offer guzzibass, but I don't think I'm really after another Gretsch at the moment. Sorry
 3.
How has this passed me by? I do love a Gretsch hollow body and this one is spectacular. Have a bump.
Yeah it is pretty spectacular. Shame we don't get on because I'd love to keep it!
 4. Bump. Price now down to £1100.00. Think this is the lowest I'll take! Cheers
 5.
Just waiting for a Les Paul to sell.......!
That's cool .
Utterly beautiful! Are these US-made?
No all the Pro Gretsches are Japanese made now
 6. Thanks for the response guys! I haven't had the guitar long. I always wanted one then soon discovered the body size and feel just didn't suit me. Should've tried it first I guess . Guzzibass, that Gibson 'the paul' sounds interesting but I think it's too similar to the Gordon Smith I currently have!
 7. SOLD Up for sale is my lovely 2009 Gretsch G6118T-LTV Anniversary. TV Jones classic pickups, pinned bridge, Bigsby B6 vibrato, 1950's trestle bracing and a two-tone Cadillac green nitro finish. Basically a suped-up version of the standard Anniversary model. There is a large scratch in the top and a very few minor ones else wear, but apart from that it is in beautiful condition. Not played much and never gigged. No fret wear at all. Only recently purchased but I don't think I get on too well with big bodied electrics and doesn't really suit my style despite this having been my dream guitar for a long time! Sold with a brand new Compton stainless steel bridge (see last pic) imported from the states (worth £45) if you wish to swap out the stock adjustomatic. May be interested in trades, Fender Mustang/teles/jazzmasters, Gibson SG, ES335/slimline semis. Would prefer collection from the Island but can meet in Southampton or Portsmouth. Asking £1100.00 Cheers!

 10. Vintage early 70's Micro-Frets 'Spacetone' guitar. Made in Frederick, Maryland USA. Semi-hollow body with two white plexi-glass single coil pickups designed by Bill lawrence. Sounds like a cross between a Rickenbacker and a Fender Jaguar. 'Calibrato' vibrato and an intonatable roller nut both exclusive to Micro-frets guitars. Played by Carl Perkins and Martin Gore of depeche mode. Less than 4000 guitars were ever made. A few minor dings and a bit of 'worming' on the back, but overall in beautiful condition for it's age. I can't find one for sale as nice as this. Most are missing bits of the pickguard or the trem arm. Selling with non original hard case. Trades considered. Gretsch hollowbody or similar would be nice but let me know what you have as I may be interested. Can post for £30 within the UK. Check out Carl Perkins with a MicroFrets in the video at the bottom of page. Fast forward to 1.55 for good idea of what these guitars sound like.
