1.
What about a TC Electronics BH250 kinda bump
'No valves and not enough power' - type reply! But thanks anyway :-)
 2.
I love this bass Jonny. If I win the lottery this weekend I'll be right down!
Thanks Lawrie - any luck??? ;-)
 3. Thanks again Clarky... Step right up and buy an amp so small, sound engineers will laugh... until they hear it ;-)
 4. 5-string Dingwalls are either 37"-34" or 35"-32" ;-)
 5.
What a beauty! But I believe that the SJ and SP basses are fanned 35"-32".
Ah yes, of course - 37 - 32 would be rather extreme! Typo fixed, thanks.
 6.
Any better photos, can't see what sort of cosmetic condition it's in, Is there a gig bag of any kind with it? Bump. Cheers, Karl.
Pics added, thanks. No gig bag with it, but you could just stick it on your back pocket ;-)
 7. Hi All, So, due to my playing evolving in a different direction, I'm selling my trusty Dingwall SJ5. It's an earlier model (approx 3 yrs old) with double skunk stripes on the back of the neck and the D string scallop(?) with no string tree. This is one fat-toned beast with a great neck, excellent balance - exceptionally easy to play... A few marks on the body but nothing serious - impossible to photograph! PRICE DROP: now £2200 (including Dingwall gig bag & tools). (A new one with these specs would cost you over £1000 more) Shipping: worldwide, but would much prefer s local sale - pickup in Greenwich, or meet in central London. No trades or low-balling please ;-) Full specs., incl. extras: •Fanned frets - 35"-32" scale length •Black high gloss thin finish •Alder Body with tone chambers •White pearl pickguard •Matching Headstock •Maple fingerboard •Black blocks •Maple neck - satin finish •Volume (pull/passive), Pickup selector (Bridge, Both parallel, Both series, Neck) •Super Fatty pickups with active Glockenklang 2-band 18v preamp - Bass, Treble w/Passive Cut. •Chrome Custom Bridge •Chrome Hipshot ultralight tuners • Hipshot X-tender on B-string •Weight 9lb 2oz •Gig bag and tools Check out the pics and don't be afraid to ask questions about this superb instrument...
 8. Ah, the good ol' LMII - I've had one actually but not what I'm after now, thanks!
 9. ****NOW £375**** For sale is my trusty Euphonic Audio Micro 550. It's ridiculously small, weighs less than 1kg and has never let me down. Fantastic 'wide' sound & very clean - would also be an excellent choice for those who double on DB or have 2 basses that need different eq.... The only reason for selling is I fancy a micro with a decent valve pre, so the only trade I'd be interested in would be a Gallien Krueger MB Fusion. Will throw in a TRS cable too :-) I'd prefer pickup from Greenwich, or I can meet in Central London. NOW £375 INC. UK POSTAGE! THE SPECS •Inputs: Configuration: 2 independent channels- Channel 1 Mid EQ set at 500Hz for electric bass, Channel 2 Mid EQ set at 800Hz for upright/acoustic bass •Input Impedance: 1Meg ohm input impedance on both inputs •Trim controls: Independent channel level adjustments, DI output level, and high pass filter •Intelligent Input Switching: Select different settings for 1 bass or have independent setups for 2 basses, Channel 1 or Channel 2, or Channel 1+2 •Controls: Channel switch, Input gain, 3-Band EQ, Master Volume, Mute switch, Effects loop blend •EQ: Low, Mid, and High for each channel, Variable high pass filter 22-80 Hz, 6db per octave (allows selection of a frequency below which response is reduced, helps boomy rooms and stages-Channel 2 only) •Effects Loop: Parallel effects loop with blend control, wide range of setups via internal jumpers •Outputs: Speakon speaker, tuner, effects send, balanced DI out (1/4" stereo wired as TRS) •Protection: Internal cooling fan, thermal and overload •Line Voltage: 100/120 - 240 volts internally selected via jumper •550w at 4ohms, 375w at 8ohms (can be run at 2ohms).
