  1. Paul, Thanks for the offer - im after a straight cash sale - its going on ebay next week I believe
  2. Probably is worth keeping - but maybe just a few more bumps?
  3. Cheers Monsterbassman - your damn right there!! Sorry Uke NO TRADES on this one - its worth more to me than what id get in a trade (if you kinda see what I mean)?? lol!
  4. Norm, Your more than welcome to come and give it a try - happy to A/B it against my 73 P Bass - I think you'll be suprised! PM me if you fancy coming to take a look. Matt
  5. Norm, The finish is a result of black paint being sanded off the body and then waxed (sounds horrid but it looks lovely) - Yes just had a closer look at the bass - the strings do appear to be slightly biased towards the upper edge of the fretboard - I can 100% guarantee that this doesn't affect the playability or sound though - its a classic vintage MIJ bass at a cracking price!!
  6. Andy, yes they are awesome - they cut through the mix so well and have a beautiful raw thump. Tom - its a kind of contoured slab (it's not contoured like a fender) but the edges are rounded so it comfortable on the arm - hope that helps - M
  7. Here we have a Truckstop special - this was a 1981 Blazer that Truckstop stripped back after it had been painted black (yuck) - the resultant bass is a kind a waxed zebra strip finish. Its actually rather sexy, and after I bought it I got the neck alignment professionally sorted and I then proceeded to use it for few years as my main bass (in preference to my 73 P Bass!). All the rest is original - and if you've ever played one you will know that the pups are super hot!! Weight is about 9.5lb. Im not playing it so much these days - and I know I will regret selling it but needs must. It can be yours for the bargain price of £220 collected from Wotton under Edge, near Bristol. Im happy also to post this bass (at buyers cost) - but I don't have a hard case for it (I could do a good cardboard box with bubble wrap inside - and send it insured). Any questions please ask.
