1. Hey guys - I'll be playing a gig with Pete Cater in April - am I going to be in for tough time??

Has anyone worked with him, what is he like?

    Cheers

    John

  2. It's cool - if I was ordering another OW it would along these lines - I'm into my Fender 75RI at the moment, but I'm sure one of these would be better!!

I'm good thanks - tired but good, that's what a 16 week old, plus a full time job and gigging does for you - not to mention the freelance stuff!

Hope all is well with you, I must get up to Carlisle again soon :)

    Take care...

  3. Cheers Joe - appreciate it. Glad I was able to help, it was a pleasure dealing with you :)
Recently posted a wanted ad for a barefaced compact and John replied the same day. His pricing was very fair, and his photography skills are second to none

Communication was great throughout and the item turned up exactly as he stated. Couldn't ask for a better seller :)

    Cheers again John

  4. Cracking post mate but I think I'd be uncomfortable in this position too :)
I would be somewhere and a 50stringer would be handed on to me. I don't want to feel uncomfortable.
5. Joe is a top guy - he wanted a Barefaced Compact, I had one that was surplus to requirements. Fast payment, good comms a pleasure to deal with, thanks Joe :)

Enjoy the cab, hope you get more use out of it than I did :)

  6. I had a similar query a few months back, only mine was to balance one active bass and one passive bass so I could have both ready to go on a gig.

I got a little A/B box with independent volume controls for each input - I bought it from here but as yet haven't had the chance to actually use it on a gig. If memory serves it's a Red Onion pedal. Something like that would probably give you what you need.

My research also highlighted the Boss LS-2 option which I think will also do what you need but I found it to be too complicated and expensive for my needs...

  7.
jwbassman - used to live about ten mins from KGV college, (mis)spent my youth in Palm Court/Manhattens/Floral Hall. Where you based? Good luck with house move!
I went to KGV - albeit a while ago... currently live in Churchtown.

Was never really one for going out in town though, I've heard it can get pretty rough of a Friday and Saturday nights these days so tend to stay well away.

Thanks, got a viewing tomorrow so let's hope they like it, it's a good house that just doesn't meet our requirements anymore...

Indeed it is - where abouts?
sell your sofa, they're worth it!!
Currently trying to sell the house! - if that happens you never know I might have room for one!
