The specs are: "10" Figured redwood top - almost holographic from a distance. Matching headstock, Mahogany body, maple neck, ebony board, 35'' scale, 24 fret lines, plush MTD fitted hardshell case. In mint condition. No trades thank you.

18.
I sold a Veillette Jazz Nylon Baritone (the one pictured below) to a bass player recently who was planning on doing just as the OP suggests. His justification for moving to the dark side and buying a guitar was that he was playing lots of chordal stuff on a six string bass so thought a baritone might make more sense. His Veillette is tuned B, E, A D, G, C I think. I don't know if he's a BCer but i'll email him and draw his attention to this thread. Maybe he'll let us know how he's getting on. Phil
Thanks, Phil, for drawing my attention to this thread. Yes, I tune my Veillette Jazz 14 baritone nylon from B-C like a 6 string bass but an octave higher, which just means the top two strings are up a half step. Despite owning some lovely sounding MTD635 basses, it is undeniable that the Veillette sounds superior in every way in a 'jazz guitar duo' setting. I know that's tantamount to heresy on this forum! Normal fingerstyle bass technique translates especially well to nylon too. Alan
19. Hello! Yamaha John Patitucci JP2 bass in amber. 35" scale, 26 frets and with new noiseless JP2 pre-amp. Utterly immaculate condition, indistinguishable from new with hard case. Still with protective clingfilm on back cavity. £1350 for quick sale. Sorry, not really interested in trades unless MTD USA fretless. Cheers! Alan
20. Thanks for all the interest, It's a 2003 model and I replaced the Bart NTMB circuit (having problems with it) first with an Aguilar OBP-3 (far too noisy) and then put the Glockenklang 2 band in it (very quiet and hi-fi). I live near Newmarket. Al.
21. Opps, I forgot to take the midi pickup off! Also forgot to add that the pickups are Bartolinis. Al.
22. Black cherry, 5A quilted maple over alder, Glockenklang preamp, 35" scale, Good condition with Modulus case, £1150. No trades.
