  1. First yes it was a very nice event and I am glad I came and sure be back next year.
Steve and all the staff were great and the place is just so nice. After being to the 3 Bassday in Europe (I,UK and D) I do think volume is THE PROBLEM. I do believe is our responsability (The expositor) to keep volume level and gear dimension accordingly to the expo charachteristic. I do not think large box (8x10) or double stack (4x10 + 1x15) are the best choice for 500m2 rooms with very high ceiling and a very huge glass wall. This is the kingdom of resonance and I do believe some notes that were played Sunday afternoon are still sounding in the room. I do think small cabs like 1x12 or 210 or 212 are largely enough to test the beautiful basses exposed. A different room for big boxes might be arranged for those willing to really test and compare big boxes and stack. Better for us and also better for the visitors , my ears were just blown away sunday night and I miss the last concerts and jam just because my ears need rest which is a pity.
But apart that I do think it was very well organised and I did like the sometime "lesson" approach and the spirit very ''britain'' in the artistic direction.
Very well done and btw thanks to all who spend some time at my stand and try some instruments. I hope announcing soon the availibility in the UK of Bacchus and STR instruments.
To all see you next year !!

  2. Hi everybody I am posting this for a friend who doesn't really speaks english so here we are.
For sale a Rickenbaker 4003 (2001 but not sure !!) , here's the pictures and if you have any question..just post it and I'll get the answers.
The bass is located very close to Paris and it's in great condition , no gig bag or hard case included and the price is 1500 € ( about 1300 GBP ).
    Here it goes !!

  3. Well the list price is the same for the right handed 1480 € for a 5 strings and 1300 € for a 4 strings . ( Like others I do think that left handed have the same rights than right handed ).
The promo is 15% off so 1250 € for a 5 strings and 1100 € for a 4 strings and shipping is included with a gig bag deluxe.
So 1080 GBP for a 5 strings and 950 for a 4 strings , all instruments are brand new with a 2 years warranty.

PB 72 is not for sale and it's a right one ( can we say a righty ?? :) )

  5. Bump for the bass !!
Hi Simon , easy to answer here !
It's very difficult to get a precise year from Bacchus for the vintage series but yours is approximately from the mid 90's.
Mine (N* 1 Bass) is a 005 and it's from 94/95 , yours I think is a 95/96 or 97 the latest. Hope this will help and good luck for the sale !!
Guys don't miss this one , at this price is sure the best JB vintage like you will find.
    Cheers from France
