I'd be interested to see how my custom shop USA ASAT stacked against a Tribby, If its the same pickups, neck and electronics then apart from the colour and matching headstock then it's probably not worth the extra grand on top.
If you decide the ASAT's not worth the extra grand I'd happily give you £395 for it lol -
Out of interest , what's the weight of this baby? Looks nice and light !
String spacing 46mm at the nut and 72mm at the bridge, all centre to centre.........price just went up to £1300!!!! lol
Dood probably can't remember but he played this bass at the Bass Merchant back in the summer
Well I saw them last night and had a great night . The whole band were just enjoying what they were doing so much, and the whole unit was tight as a ducks a$$. Well maybe a slightly elderly duck lol
I had a good chat with Colin and he's an absolute gent. A proper bassists bassist.
Happy days
Nick. -
Just out of interest, what the difference between a BN5 and this one?
-
No worries David. Do you realise its over 5 years since I bought your Eggle fretless from you?
Still loving it too :-) -
It could have been worse - you might have asked who James Jamerson was.
I had no idea who Jamerson was until I got the internet lol -
Just had a good look at the photos , and that really is a stunning bass. Looks like they've done a fantastic job on it . Amazed it hasnt sold yet!
BTW I'm deliberately trying to sell this bass before the Nordstrand Big Singles I've ordered from Mark(Bass Direct) actually arrive (due anytime now). I really think this bass would be hard to give up once they are installed!
Steve
That answers my PM lol . Beautiful bass ! -
There's plenty of people on here that would love to really set fire to ashdown gear lol lol
-
Okie dokie .... BTW is that your Q6 in your avatar? I'd love to see a decent size photo of that bass if you have one? Looks like a fantastic piece of wood!!
As a Lakand fan and indeed a Dudepit fan I am upset that the DPLE111 seems to have hit some snags, I thought about fronting up for one of these as i have a dple1 and just wondered if anyone had any further info?
It's a real shame but the dudepit seems to have the forum version of leporosy over the last 2 or 3 years . It's slowly falling apart :-( -
I think I'll be seeing them at the Hailsham gig . Should be a goodun
