1. The end of that Mark King looks lethal-

I'd imagine if I owned that I would skewer my hand and knock the thing off in rage. :)

  2.
I honestly can't believe the amount of complaining over a 2.5% cut in price of just about everything we buy as consumers. It's frankly, amazing. The government can't even give money away without people whinging.
TBH its is the worst way to try to get money to the consumer as most retailers will just say they are knocking it off and not bother, I work in a service industry and all across the board nothing has been knocked off in fact all it has done is increase the workload on working out the VAT, now as someone said a reduction in fuel would have been a better way but that would make to much sense :)

  3. I usually pickup a 'Pickup' (errr!) from my local music shop and noticed if you subscribe to the mag for £20 you get a free set of Warwick EMP Strings free, I know the mags free anyway but the Strings must be worth £25-30 and you don't miss a issue of a good readable mag.

  5.
Friend of mine had a Nemesis combo that was nothing but trouble. Continual problems and it failed completely at a gig once. may just have been a rogue head but really put me off.

Sounded nice when it was working though!

Purely personal view but I'd have to think that Eden would not sell cabs that sounded as all round good as their core range at a lower price as it would wreck their core brand sales. There's obviously a diminishing rate of return but if it was a straight choice between the two I'd go for Eden branded cabs ahead of the cheaper Nemesis versions any day.

Obviously weight is a factor here and the Nemesis stuff is definitely lighter than Eden equivalents.
I agree with all you said but sometimes it does work the other way round Fender Japan Squier early '80's v's USA Fender early '80's but normally the cheaper range should be less impressive.

  6. I use DR Black Beautys and I love 'em they do seem to stay very bright sounding for quite a while (5-6 weeks)but if your a pick player they do lose there colour at the point the pick hits the string after a while.Cheapest place for them is Thomann about £20 :)

  7. I've the 4x10 and the 15 and TBH they sounded the same as the normal EDENS when I tested them and went with the Nemesis just for the weight reason alone. The only thing that I would change is the lack of any control on the HF driver but to be honest I'd leave it on anyway.
