Hi all
Just looking for some info and feedback on Limelight basses as I'm looking at possibly buying a Jazz.
Are they made here in the UK? Do we know what pickups are used? Anyone gig one regularly? Is there any backup or support if needed?
Any and all comments welcome - many thanks all!

Hi - do you happen to know / can you find the weight? Also, does it have a 'F' decal on the headstock face? Could well be interested if it's not too heavy - cheers

Would a pair of Bergantino AE112s be of any interest to you?

Hi folks - sorry to mess y'all about but I'm narrowing the search for the right trade for this bass.
I have no immediate need for a 5-string (many thanks to those who PM'd me with some beautiful instruments btw), so my ideal trade is for a Fender CS P-Bass. Not bothered about the finish, would consider either version (i.e. '55-spec or the later ones) and I have some funds available to make it work if necessary.
The only other thing I'd look at is a 2-band Stingray, ideally a pre-EB or possibly a later model with some dosh my way, ideally in natural with a maple neck.
Many thanks for your patience!

Just in case anyone has one for sale that isn't getting much serious interest, I do have some funds available to trade up to a suitable Fender CS P or J. Would also look at a '55-spec P.
Cheers

I bought one of these last year on spec - I'd never played one - and it's become one of my favourites which I use exclusively for my 50s / 60s band. It's light, very easy to play and has that plonky vintage sound that works so well for the older material. The shorter scale length means that you lose some definition on the open E but you get used to that. I paid £600 and to be honest I think it was a steal!
