I ran Warwick/Trace for a long time. Streamers and an FNA jazzman, with an AH400SMX, two 4x10s and a bright box, usually with a back up head sat on top too. Was a big old stack to lug around, but thankfully back then I had a crew and truck doing the work for me much of the time. These days I play a glued together Ibanez, don’t even use an amp and the roadies are a distant memory. How life has changed!

My fist bass was also a Kaman GTX 53, in electric blue. Nice to see a rare mention of one!

Pretty hard to control my monitor mix from a sheet of paper. 😳

Bought my compressor Anna a joy to deal with. No drama, all good. Top banana

Lovely optical compressor that has so many uses. It’s great at the start of a signal chain to even out playing, i.e. even in conjunction with a more aggressive compressor. Is in poor condition sadly, but works fine. £5 postage. Uk only

Alas my life has recently imploded and I’m in a panic trying to sell all my gear. Hence I have a few pedals I need to move on.
This is my Mel 9 which I use for strings on both bass and guitar. It’s a fantastic pedal that works and sounds great. It’s in fab condition with Velcro on the bottom. No box I’m afraid, I’ll post for £10 to uk only.
No swaps etc I’m afraid.-

Thank you. I will consider offers for a quick sale. But strictly collection only. Now only supplied with the Hipshot. I’ll have to post on the other tuner later on.

Big price drop

I use the helix and love it having moved from an excellent zoom b9.1. I hated it for guitar though, so went back to zoom for guitar and stick to helix for bass.

My Aria Pro-II SB-1000 was made in 1980 - the "batwing" headstock, before they had a battery indicator LED and before the jack socket was recessed. I bought it from Humbucker Music in Leicester in 1985 and played it as my only bass for the next 10 years
My sonic blue jazz bass came from humbucker

I think mine was ‘goodnight though’ by the wonderstuff, or kill your television by Neds

I use the rolls, fantastic little box.

They sure are.
More pics here, to show the marks, I still can’t photo the small indentation, it’s only occasionally visible from certain angles, It’s above the pickups.
i should add that this is only available while the bass I want is still for sale. If it sells before this I shall be withdrawing, I had no intention of ever selling this, it’s a sheer Gas attack.

Stunning sr1200 with a gloss figured top, plays beautifully (ramp not included). Its actually my main bass, but you know how GAS is!
It’s in great condition but not pristine, I gig it every weekend, there’s small chip on the back of the headstock a minor dent on the front that’s very hard to picture and wear to the rear, (more pics to follow.) Collected from Cheltenham or close meet. I’ve owned over 300 basses and this THE best, I just have a serious case of GAS!
The fancy Ibanez case is included. £400 or Ono for a quick sale)
It also has a hip shot, (silver) I can remove to reduce the cost by £50. I still have the original gold tuner.
I have now had a personal crisis and will let this go for £400 collected

Best thing I’ve ever done in 30 years of gigging. And I use the KZs too.

I use them (when I’m not IEMs) really good, very happy with them. This video captures the on stage sound from them pretty well

My 1990 MiJ jazz - of which the only original part is now the body and three of the tuners. Many of you know this bass well. It’s had countless variations but this is it today. It’s quite wonky and really battered from decades of gigs and the finish is disintegrating in chunks and splits, but it’s a part of me and I love it. It used to be sonic blue but has turned more green over the years.

Had some rough times lately and as part of that sold my GMR custom. Decided it was time to replace it and to cheer myself up, so treated myself to this SR4crmltd. I know it’s a marmite finish, but I wanted something that stands out and I really like it.
It’s a good gig machine to go with my SR1200 too.-
