  1. I was thinking of selling, so I took some more pics.
…then I changed my mind 🤣 - may as well use the pics here then! (E saddle misplaced cause cause I took these just after a string change and I’d knocked it out of place)

  2. You know the score. Fab little box of tricks that can just do so many brilliant things. I’ve used mine for acoustic and bass. It’s Utterly fab but non longer required. Boxed with manual and a scratch on the top.
    £55 posted to uk.

  3. Great condition, boxed with manual and psu. Lovely touch screen with a fab tuner, loads of effects, looks the business in the flesh, sounds great. A fab hi-tech bass specific multi effects pedal. Super intuitive to use which is nice.
Sadly, it’s just not for me.
I like my old fashioned stuff !
    £265 ono delivered. UK only.

Maaaybe open to a swap for a Sterling sub ray. That’s about it.

  4. In the process of fixing up my old Warwick streamer, I ended up with a pile of mec parts from various places, including here.
I’ve not got a clue what works or doesn’t as I just went with EMG in the end!!
I’ve not got the skills/time/inclination to faff about with it, so here’s the lot for sale together in a box going cheap!

mec p and j active pickups and two mec preamps. What you see is what you get :)

  5. Bought last summer, Was fitted to my GMR briefly, but I took it out when the shaft came out the passive tone pot. (The GMR now has a custom Bartolini/Dex audio hybrid).
John East kindly sent me a new tone pot module, which is now fitted so it’s all as new - but in all honesty I’m fine with what’s in the bass now and cannot be bothered with the pallava of a swap, which leaves this as spare. It’s boxed with manual ready to go. The only ‘issue’ is the short amount of cable on the jack socket to go to earth. This just needs extending.
£150 plus a tenner for postage. Uk only.

    Some post-gig thoughts...

The gig was a restaurant/bar full of people which meant we couldn't do any semblance of a full sound-check, unfortunately.

Quick line check, levels and off to the races. It was a mess for a few songs, but eventually things settled in.

I found that making on-the-fly changes on the B6 was pretty easy when time allowed.

The B6 was great in terms of sound, and the high visibility of the touch screen is really a substantial upgrade that I only really appreciate now that I've gigged the unit.

Huge HUGE gripe is the switching of banks while in MEMORY mode. Far too much tap dancing needed to simply go up/down one bank (and I only really need 3 banks for all my sounds).

Instead, I opted for the bank up/down arrows on the touch screen in MEMORY mode. Would rather not have to reach down to the pedal to do this, but better than doing the riverdance.

All-in-all, though, a very positive experience, even under difficult circumstances and in a venue with not-so-good acoustics.

Has anyone come up with a solution to the lack of bank switching in memory mode?

  7. The current version of my bass board. This serves as my whole live rig, with IEMs having a separate signal chain that ends at the rolls pm50. I then have a custom signal/IEM cable. The IEM line also doubles as a signal chain for feeding my two Headrush frfr112s if I’m at a festival and don’t want to run on in ears.
what’s odd about this set up I guess is the sheer amount of preamps!

The nux acts as a front end and hpf, the sadowsky is really for my jazz bass, but it stays on mostly for everything. The mooer clean boost is for my GMR which is lower output and the sparrow is on the IEM feed to tone tweak headphones or my Headrush set up. The boom ave is there purely because I happen to enjoy the octaver on it and I like to be able to quickly add it over patches on the zoom that don’t already have it.
whilst the zoom B9 is a bit of an antique these days, I find I just love the thing and always keep at least one spare one, as they are getting on a bit now and I’ve killed a few, but it really is my core tone (heard in the Rio cover below) with just a touch of the Walter woods amp model through an SWR 4x10 cab sim. The zoom ms60b beefs up the amp emulation in my IEMs to give me more of a live feel while providing dual outputs the Headrush(s).
FOH DI is from the zoom, pre the ms60 and sparrow. But there are multiple Di options for a blend channel. The cheap eq is linked to the loop switch purely for a bass cut in a royal blood song.  Linked below.
it’s an odd set up, but works for me. I’m currently mulling a switch to helix, but don’t want to lose my big synth sound that I use in a few tunes like the cover of Blinding lights linked below  (bass had to redone and is slightly out of sync, but you get the idea) I’m unsure if it’s possible to create this sound in a helix

  8. Just bought this on here, it’s in great condition and sounds as awesome as we know these do, but an unexpected expense means I need to recoup some money quickly, so sadly it’s got to go. £60 posted to uk.

  9. Follow the light by dirty loops. I’m sure it’s perfectly playable, there doesn’t seem anything that appears impossible - just way beyond what I’d be willing to invest in terms of time to learn just for giggles, unless it was going in a covers set. I know I should be learning for the sake of self betterment - but.
I guess I’m just too lazy/busy! Amazing tune though

  10. With great regret, I’m selling my stock Ibanez SR500 - I call it ‘the woodchipper’ - for obvious reasons!
It plays great and sounds fab, which is why it’s so worn. For a good few years it was my gigging number one, and used for all sorts of jams, open mics etc, which has left it looking very well played!!

Don’t be fooled by the looks though, it’s been meticulously maintained and cared for, the neck is great and is well set up. It’s wearing a set of elixirs at the minute. There’s one dead fret up the very top of dusty end somewhere if I recall, but only with my silly low action!

you can hear a somewhat muffled video of it here, back before I’d chipped quite so much of the finish off!!

I’m asking £175 collected from Cheltenham sadly I cannot post.
not bad considering the retail price!

  11. I recently bought back this stunning 99 streamer LX after having pined for it back for 15 years!!
But … my circumstances have suddenly and unexpectedly changed and Im gutted to say that I need to move it on again :(

The good: It’s stunning!! It’s set up well and plays beautifully, I’ve owned several Warwicks and this one is special - there’s just something about it. It’s snarls and pops and slaps and bites and it’s just so comfy to play. It has songs in it. There’s a hipshot extender and Schaller straplocks and brand new EMG pickups with an EMG preamp - a month ago! New barrel jack fitted too. Everything works as it should. Including the truss rod. The neck is beautifully figured with a lovely holographic depth to it. But I can’t capture it in a photo.

The No so good - and the reason for the cheap price!
It’s had a knock - meaning the top is cracked around the knobs. See the pics. It’s visible up close, but it’s totally sound. You can’t move it or push it etc. it’s still perfectly solid and sound and seems to require no repair etc. it’s fine. It just looks rough up close. Also, there’s some buckle rash on the back - hard to picture though and one of the screws on the bridge pickup has no head - it height adjusts fine so it’s never been an issue, but there are marks around it.

Hence im selling this gorgeous, well set up bass with brand new EMG electronics at just £670 ovno collected only from Cheltenham.
