1.
In the last 5 years i've been through quite a few basses (in chronological order) Spector Q6 Pro Yamaha BB614 Fender Jazz MIM Ibanez Musician MC900 Musicman Stingray 2EQ Lakland 55-02 Warwick Corvette $$ 5 Bacchus Venus 5 Overwater Progress III Deluxe (Still owned) Epiphone Thunderbird (Still owned) And, after experiencing all of these wonderful instruments, i've come to the conclusion I still don't know what I want. The quality and price of the instrument does not seem to correlate directly to the enjoyment I get from it, this baffles me. If I had to pick between my T-Bird and the Overwater for a quick play, the T-Bird will win. I'm starting to think having such an expensive instrument as the Progress is perhaps wasted on me, as I don't really appreciate it for what it can do. It is an exquisite instrument in terms of construction quality, and aesthetically also - is very pleasing. However I never pick it up and have a grin on my face after (ignoring initial honeymoon period of when I got it). I can't get on with the EQ at all and am not convinced changing it would make me love the bass. I think selling it and buying a couple of cheaper basses (with different sound pallets) would make me happier than one top quality custom bass. Does anyone else find dissatisfaction with almost everything they get ?
hay man try this one out you will not regret it i have one http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/SANDBERG-PM5-Custom-...=item43a6457b14

 4.
I currently have a Yamaha TRB 1005 and I am looking to get a new 5 string very soon. I am pretty set on a MM Stingray 5 which i played this week, I was blown away by the way they play and sound. I was wondering if there are any other basses that I should try in the same price range (£1000 - £1500) before I commit to buying, but more importantly, where I can get a chance to test them. I am based in Leeds and in my experience it is difficult to come across basses in this price range, so I am willing to travel to a more specialist bass shop. A few that have caught my eye include Overwater aspiration Deluxe 5 and the G&L L2500. I mainly play rock, metal and a bit of funk, I am not gigging at the moment but might be in the future. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
hello i think i can help you a bass you might like this is my bass and its up for sale i am willing to go down to 1100 if you would like to try it out i live in lincoln and if you want a video to watch even tho its my uni submit it still shows off it niceness just skip to 6:20 to see what it sounds like thiers 2 tracks one dance song and one rock metal song playing throw an ashdown its some bigger throw my marshall mbc tell me what you think http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o8kdXfHD-z0...nel_video_title http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/SANDBERG-PM5-Custom-...010181110667314
