Nice bass. A couple of questions - 38mm nut width? Weight? Plus, are there 2 screws next to each other at the top of the scratch plate? Hard to make out when I zoom in on my phone.

Watched last night's Grand Designs & saw cabinet makers making a new set of kitchen cabinets in the style of New York freezer box design. Gorgeous work & to watch them distress the finish was anazing. Luthier must see I think.

Website is back up. Seems to be making black & white versions only & not custom jobs it seems. Instagram account is quite busy.

I remember he had these two huge crash cymbals behind him, which he often played both at the same time! Must've killed his shoulders - real powerhouse!

Saw them in the early 70s at Birmingham Town Hall - Trower, Dewar & Bill Lordan on drums. Terrific band. Think For Earth Below album had just come out. Jimmy Dewar had a superb rock voice. Sadly missed.

Piqued my interest to have a look online. The basic 'classic' Wing bass is on sale at $699 but then there are price add-ons for type of woods etc. (Bit like BMW).
The micro Pog add on is $275. Plus shipping & customs/duty makes it pretty pricy landed in the UK.

They are also now making 30" scale versions, which start at $1999. Neat but you can get ukelele basses with labella flats for a lot cheaper.
Look forward to hearing more from Ped when he's got the Roland installed!
