1. I've advertised this bass before, but I was initially only interested in a sale. However, I've since changed my mind and would now also consider a trade for the right bass (with a cash adjustment either way if applicable). More info on possible trades is provided below. The bass is a 2006 custom Overwater Progress III Deluxe six-string, which I had built in 2006. I'm selling it for two reasons, namely injury and the fact that the band I used it in folded in 2009. Since then, it's spent most of its time in the case. For those couple of years of use, though, it served me extremely well. The B-string is very tight, thanks to the 35" scale, and is still sufficiently defined when dropped to A with the Hipshot. The bass is in excellent condition. Specs String spacing: 18mm Scale length: 35" Maple neck with rosewood skunk stripes Fretboard: rosewood Front of body: cocobolo (bookmatched 'full-over top') Back of body: mahogany Machine heads: Gotoh (gold) Bridge: Overwater Electronics: Overwater Pickups: Kent Armstrong Hipshot Extender Key Straplocks: Jim Dunlop Photos can be found here: http://imageshack.us...267433050l.jpg/ I recently contacted Overwater to find out what it would cost to have an equivalent bass built now, and with the various custom options it would be EUR 4336.00 / GBP 3584.00. I'm looking for GBP 1600.00 or the equivalent in euros. The bass comes with a moulded plastic case. As regards a trade, I'd be particularly interested in a fretless pre-Ernie Ball Music Man StingRay, provided it's in good and all-original condition. 2. Just to clarify, I'm preferably looking for a straight sale. However, I might be interested in a trade should anyone have an interesting pre-EB MM Sabre (fretted or fretless), MM Cutlass II, or '70s Jazz or Precision (large headstock logo only).
3. Bump for a fantastic bass from the golden era of Warwick. I've been wanting to pick up one of these for years, but they never seem to come up at the right time. Good luck with the sale! You shouldn't struggle at such a fair price.
4. I had this up a while ago, um'd and ah'd a bit, and have now finally decided to sell. 5. PS This is a typical 'transitional' MM. There are quite a few of them about.
6.
String tree is in the wrong place (should be G&D not A&D) logo I'm not sure about and if that's a chamfered body it's not a pre body either , colour is also not a pre EB colour. Needs more info explaining all the above before anyone gets involved in my opinion
The issue of the string tree position, logo, chamfering, etc. is not that black and white. These features were changed before the takeover by EB (around '83), although the EB logos were not implemented until some time after the takeover (examples without the Ernie Ball name on the headstock exist up to '85). Also, MM/EB tended to simply use what they had lying around, so this bass may simply have been assembled from a comination of new and older parts. The neck stamps (if present) should shed some more light on this, but there are many more possible explanations. The info on musicmanbass.org covers this in a lot more detail. Cheers, Kees
7. I just replied to this post on Talkbass. Looks like it could be my old one, which I traded in at the Bass Centre in Brum in September 2001.

9. I'm selling a Boss ODB-3 I bought new in 1995. It comes with the original box and booklet and is in good condition. I'm asking 60 euros. I'm based in the Netherlands, but will ship elsewhere if necessary.

17. A beautiful example. I have a fretless Sabre from the same year, and they're fantastic, versatile basses.
18. Looks great! Still not gone? I'll be coming over to England (Crewe) in September; if for some strange reason it's not gone by then, I may well be interested. I have a 35" six-string Progress myself, but I'm considering switching back to a five. However, I'm not used to the 36" scale, so I'd have to try it.
19. Fantastic! I'd love a Sabre in this colour.
