Potentially interested in the Gator. Is it the normal 18.75" depth? And how much for postage?
Yes it is the normal depth one,
postage will be between 8 and 10 quid,
i have a box i can post it in as well.
i will get some pictures up as i would rather you see the cosmetic issues first even though they don't affect the case from a useage point of view.
cheers steve -
i have for sale 2 4U rack cases as they are just sat around taking up space.
one is a Gator 4U not in mint condition cosmetically but structurally sound all catches work but has marking on the aluminium but would still be very practical looking for 20 quid plus postage for this.
the other is a flightcase warehouse 4U ABS case has been used but is good condition both cosmetically and structually, again looking for 20 quid plus postage
will post some pics later as i am at work and have no camera.

Just testing the water to see if there is anyone out there with a Warwick tubepath either 5.1 or 10.1 whowould be interested in a trade for my ampeg svt 3 pro with cash adjustment if needed.
I have 2 warwick neo cabs and am looking to match them up with a tubepath afer trying one out and loving the tone.
thought i'd try on here before i go down the part ex route.
if there is anyone out there drop me a pm
cheers steve -
I played this at Richard's a few days before it sold. It's a cracking bass, solid, and the worn look is great in the flesh!!!
Thanks for that it does indeed play well and looks stunning photo's do not do it justice in any way
that is exactly what a vintage fender should look like
Thanks Kev i know it looks the dogs, plays well too but just not really what i'm after !
as i said maybe i'm just a heathen -
Not sure about this however here goes, bought this from Richard on here as part of a 3 way deal, having always coveted a 70's fender the problem is while it is a great bass i can't see it replacing my Lakland BG can't explain why just me being a heathen i guess ! but the fact is it is too good a bass to have sat around as a back up
The bass has an original 73 body, neck with Rosewood board and tuners, has been fitted with seymour duncan quarter pounders in the neck and bridge routes, i have attached a link to the original post for pics but if anyone wants anymore i'll take some tonight and post them. Rich had all the frets dressed and i've had it professionally set up since i got it.
So just putting out the feelers out for a sale or possible trade, would be interested in fairly recent Fender P in either Sunburst or Black with maple board, lakland, in fact if your interested hit me with what you've got i can only say no, obviously cash adjustment either way.
for straight sale would be looking around 850 plus postage.

some pics now added if any one wants anymore please pm me with an e mail address and i will send them, apologies about the quality of the photography had to do it at work will try and get some better ones up over the weekend.
Thank God.........
couldn't have put it better myself Nick,
that would have gone so well with the BG's -
Saw them last week in Blackpool great sound and a great venue nice mix of classic james and new material and the bonus was they didn't play sit down !!!!

It appears everyone has the same problems our guitarist has a habit of claiming not to have time to learn songs he doesn't like but amazingly always manages to be in a position to play his own choices,
generally it's quite a democratic process but is a tad frustrating that we have to go all round the houses to get there, i think we should just accept that we will all have to occaisionally play songs we don't particularly like because of the nature of the gigs we play where our primary function is to ensure that people who book us have a great night.
quite obviously there is no easy answer to this -
Just on the topic of learning new songs, i would be interested to know if other people in covers bands have the same trouble agreeing on new material that we have.
All of us bar our keyboard player are in our forties and have such a varied taste choosing new songs is a nightmare also our ideas of what works and what doesn't are so varied.
Finally and i know i've gone a it off thread but how often do people tend to learn new material our lead guitarist thinks we should only learn 2 new songs a year which i think is ridiculous as for me half the enjoyment is learning new stuff, we play roughly once or twice a month and mainly functions and have a playlist of about 50-60 songs ! just interested in other peoples method to see if it is as difficult as ours. -
What is it about lead guitarists, i could start a thread on it's own about how much they annoy me,
Why is it when our singer and myself are crawling around setting up the PA and lights, monitors etc he is stood with his marshall stack playing a succession of riffs at a hideous volume
Why is it in my experience that they want to be paid top dollar for weddings etc but don't seem to want to learn songs that are popular at these events because they don't involve a 4 minute solo, To make matters worse the guitarist in our band while extremely talented is stuck in the 70's and thinks anything post 1980 is spawn of the devil.
Finally +1 for people not learning songs before rehearsal, we recently had a discussion about a couple of new songs for our set our drummer suggested Chelsea Dagger which we agreed on, we then got to rehearsal and i asked him if he had listened to the drumming for the breaks etc to be informed he hadn't got the song and had only heard it on the radio !!!!!
Anyway rant over i'm sure there are many things i do that annoy my band mates ! -
You have a pm sir
