1. Jamie has just bought my US Precision off me super fast payment and deal concluded within a couple of hours he picked up bass this morning really nice guy deal with confidence,

cheers Jamie and good luck with the bass

  2. I have an add running in the wanted section for a Lakland Bob Glaub in sunburst and maple now one has become available on ebay so i am putting my Fender P bass up to rasie the funds, if the Lakland goes i will probably withdraw this,

So the bass it is a 2010 USA P bass in olympic white/tort/maple it has been gigged but not that frequently as i predominantly use my Bob Glaub. Bass is in excellent condition and would come with new style Fender hardcase and all case candy. Currently strung with Labella Flats.

Pricewise i am looking for £720 posted , obviously happy for people to collect or i could deliver in and around the North West

If anyone needs any more info please inbox me.

The only trade i would be interested in would be a Sunburst /Maple BG or possibly a Fender Roadworn precision

  3. A quick google search revaels that as well as playing bass for the 2nd incarnation of Cockney Rebel Geoge also played with Cliff and the Shadows and was a long time member of Al Stewarts touring band and along with Stuart Elliott the drummer from Cockney Rebel provided the rythmn section on his Year of the Cat album.

George has apparently passed away and information on him, is very sketchy

  6.
Lovely, I assume they aren't heavily scooped like the aggies are?

I'm tempted by that 1x12 in the for sale section but I have another Matamp purchase on the horizon.

make sure you post them in the Matamp Porn thread :)
Hi Steve

will definitely post them in porn section going to take some better pics tho, Not heavily scooped at all really pleased with the sound, not badged as Jeff is having some smaller ones done to match cabs, will get them put on when i take them back to try out the new small amp in a couple of weeks, has he spoken to you about that looking forward to trying it out.

    cheers steve

  7. As there was some interest in 112's thought i'd post pics of my new ones picked up from Jeff yesterday, These were a custom order as they don't do a 112 bass cab as standard. I based the dimensions on the aguilar DB112, these are 8ohm sealed cabs with a 400 watt neo speakers identical to the ones in my 212, has metal carry handles at the side.

really pleased with the result as usual given them a qick blast at low volume will give them a proper run out at weekend, for info price was £280 each

  8.
See that's more like it! Thanks! Why are they so cheap if they contain neos?!

Do they still make a 1x12?
Hi Gareth

it.s my 112 thats in the for sale section and i had that made especially for practice so i didn't have to take the 212, havbe now sold both the 212 and am in the process of selling the 112 as i have today ordered 2 x112 based on the dimensions of the aguilar DB112 in the same livery as my 212 and containing the same speakers for ease of portability.

As Steve says just ring Jeff and let him know what you are looking for and he'll advise you on cost etc in his own inimitable style,

i called this morning to finalise the details of my order and Jeff rang me back at dinner to say it would be ready on Wednesday and these are custom cab dimensions that they don't normally build !!!!!!!

    Cheers steve

  9. I had this made about 4 weeks ago to save myself having to use my 212 for practice, however having decided to sell my 212 and replace it with 2x12 cabs in the same livery i will now not be needing this as i can obviously use one of the new cabs for practice.

Again hand built by Matamp is rated 400 watts at 8ohms dimensions are 480 x 480 x 300 and weighs a very reasonable 15kgs and is rear ported and contains Fane 400 watt neo speaker.

Used it for a couple of practices and is loud enough to keep up with a noisy drummer has nice depth and clarity.

looking for £200 posted or £180 collected from Wigan.

Meant to say can only let this go when i pick up my new cabs which will be later this week just getting it out there to gauge interest.

    cheers steve
