1. Ah yes, I had forgotten about the impedance of the HLF. But the idea of more bottom end does excite me. I chop and change between Stingray and Jackson PJ. So the general concensus is that I go for 2x SVT410-HEs until I am rich enough to afford the space and a bigger personal transport for an 810? (which I'd love for the hour I'm on stage, but hate the rest of the time, LOL)
2. Many thanks for your answers. Here are mine: Regarding upgrading to HLF, I meant both cabs, not one of each. Would it be worth it, really? I'd prefer 2 cabs rather than an 8x10 as I play in 3 bands and want the flexibility of being able to take a single 410 to smaller shows in my car. I will have transport for the bigger shows but don't want to buy and store an 8x10 that I can only use on the big shows, seems a waste. I love the sound of the 410, I only considered 15 as a bottom cab so I might get some real gutwrenching lows on stage, rather through monitors.
3. Cool, that means I can get another HE and run the pair at 4 ohms. Would there be any sense in upgrading to HLF, or will a pair of HE do the job?
4. Hi I'm currently using an SVT3 head into a 410HE. I'll be gigging with a bigger band on bigger stages later in the year, and I'm considering a second cab. Would I be better off with a second 4x10, or a 1x15? 8x10 aint an option, I don't have the transport. I need thump and zing, and I use overdrive. Any thoughts?
5. Price drop bump. 450 trades 400 ovno cash 350 ovno without case (collection only without case)
6. Kramer Aerostar ZX70 1986 (its red with MB and chrome hardware so its an early one from the 86-89 production run) Good condition, no dinks or scars on body or neck apart from very light playwear. It's in good shape for a 29 year old bass. There is one minor issue, the top strap button was overtightened when the previous owner added straplocks, so there is a little ugly finish repair with epoxy, but this is minor. Tuning head buttons rattle a bit like all low end elephant-ears do after a while. Plays and sounds just like a P-Bass, but with added 80s Rawk styling. Looking for [s]150.00 ono[/s] 135.00 ono bass is in West London. Can post at cost. 7. Description updated. 57.6mm at end, 56mm at pocket top/upper bolt hole. Shipping to France will be about 13.00
8. JACKSON RR3 Ltd pinstripe. 350 trades or 300 ovno cash. Built in Japan 1997, factory fitted USA Seymour Duncan pickups, rosewood board, alder body with limited edition pinstripe finish, Jackson JT580LP trem. It's not too heavy and balances well for a V. Minor wear on end points as usual, and some dents on the top edge that are invisible from the front, also a small stress crack in the lacquer at the neck pocket, this is very common on bolt-on Jacksons, but it is 100% rock solid. Trem arm has gone walkabout, but they can be found on eBay for under a tenner, and most Floyd arms will fit this. Set up with 9-42 and plays like butter off a hot knife. Trades considered for Musicman USA SUB Stingray, or other Jackson/Charvel guitars, preferably thru neck. I can add cash. Postage will be 30.00 in UK. Collection for cash is welcome from Ealing, West London. 9. JACKSON King V KV4 with Gator case. 450 trades 400 ovno cash 350 ovno without case (collection only without case) This is the rare and sought after KV4. It was only produced in Japan for one year across 2000-2001, Jackson discontinued it as people were buying this instead of the USA ones! It has a 24 fret THRU NECK (other MIJ KVs were bolt-on), factory fitted Seymour Duncan SH4 and TB4 pickups, rosewood board, alder body with trans-red flame maple top, Jackson JT580LP trem. Usual chip on headstock end, wear on bottom points as usual for Vs, few dinks and scuffs and some buckle marks but mostly superficial, no finish cracks or anything nasty. Strap buttons replaced with heavy duty ones (original Jackson ones were a bit weedy) Volume pot a bit crackly as it has been standing for a while. Set up with 9-42 and plays really well. This is 99% as good as the USA KV but a fraction the price. Trades considered for Musicman USA SUB Stingray, or other Jackson/Charvel guitars, preferably thru neck. Postage will be 30.00 in UK due to the immense size of the hard case. Collection for cash is welcome from Ealing, West London. 10. 550 trade or 475 ono cash. Mid 80s Doug Wilkes Supreme. Made in England. Bass is in West London, can post at cost. It has the thinnest most comfy Jazz profile neck I have ever played, with a lovely ebony board. Pickups are humbuckers and also in ebony casings (I think its ebony, might possibly be resin, moulded from an ebony original, but I'm not going to start scratching them to find out!) All hardware is gold except for the straplocks, which are black Schallers. Bridge is an original Schaller 3D unit, with every adjustment imaginable. It has active electronics, 3 way selector switch, 2 band active EQ, a "blend" knob for treble pickup balance, and Master Volume. It is totally stock apart from the knobs, the blend pot and the strap buttons. There are some finish checking lines round the control area, and several dinks and scratches, but not a lot of actual playwear (frets have loads of meat left), looks like the previous owner gigged it but never invested in a case. The photos show the offending areas. It needs new strings, but I will leave that to the new owner as they might want to change gauges and set it up to their own personal requirements. I've owned it for about 5 years, but it doesn't get the amount of playing it should, I have been using my Steinberger more and more. Looking for 475ono, or a bit more for trades. I can add cash if you have something I really like. I'm interested in Charvel 3B neckthru, USA Stingrays (including the SUB), Steinberger XM/Q series, Status bolt-on. I'm also interested in Charvel Model 5/Model 6 guitars and USA Jacksons. What you got?

13. I'm selling this if you are interested: 2000 Jackson KV4, MIJ NECK THRU! set up to perfection, only made for one year and discontinued as people were buying this instead of the USA ones. Factory fitted genuine Seymours, flame maple trans-red top. Usual headstock chip and bit of wear to the bottom points. I am only selling it because I prefer the short fin RRs, but I have recorded with this and it shreds like a beast. Looking for around 500 quid. West London.
