  1. Only if the pickups were staggered (a la Precision) or slanted (a la Warwick Thumb) .... I think! Steve
  2. Have a bump on me Good luck with this one Rob, thanks again for all of your help with the Yamaha. Steve

    Which Wah?

No worries. I have just had a look at a recentish copy of Bass Guitar Magazine which has a group test of 4 synth/wah pedals. If its any use to you by all means drop me a message with your address and I will put it in the post to you. For info, the Akai Deep Impact came out on top in the test (quelle surprise!!!) Cheers Steve

    Which Wah?

Hi Mike I am not really qualified to comment as I have not tried one.... but, I have read nothing but good stuff about the Emma Discombobulator (spelling?!?!) It is all analogue though. Steve
  6. Hi Dub Interesting! Just to be clear, are you saying to stack the 2x10's in an upright configuration, i.e. the drivers would be 4 high and 1 wide in total? Or to stack them 2x2 as you would normally see? Steve
  7. The Superfly channels cannot be bridged..... frustratingly enough Other than that though I am very pleased with mine... also used a practice/rehearsal amp here. As someone else mentioned I am also considering getting a 2x10 cab and replacing the drivers with 4ohm ones and feeding each from one channel of the Superfly... should be a very compact and useable 500w rig I reckon! Steve
  8. 98% finger style and 5% pick for me. No thumb whatsoever, have tried double thumping, double thumping + pluck etc. Doesn't do it for me! Steve
  9. As someone who has also owned one of these I can only say to anyone looking for a high power combo ... you will have to look long and hard to find one better than the BAM 210! This is modelling at it's best in my opinion and it would have ruled the world if only Peavey had not overpriced it at the time of release! Tempted?... you bet I am! Steve
  10. Forgot to mention that it is complete with the chrome bridge and pickup covers. Steve
  11. Electro Harmonix Doctor Q Envelope Filter. I bought this mail order a while ago and was expecting a more in ya face wah sound than this provides. It is a much more subtle envelope effect which may be just what you are looking for! Brand new, taken out of the box only to try it out. £25 + postage. Cheers Steve
  12. Left handed no name Jazz bass in Lake Placid Blue. I bought this a while ago to use as the donor bass for a project but lack of time means it just ain't going to happen. Solid alder body, plays a lot better than it really should! £75 + postage. Cheers Steve
  13. Hi For sale is my Eden D212XLT 4ohm 400w 2x12 cab. I am now bi-amping with 15/10's and really need to free up some space/cash! In good overall condition, some scuff marks from loading in and out of the car and it looks a bit dusty in the photo! Perfect working order though and a fantastic cab, I will be sorry to see it go! £350, buyer to collect! (Halfway meet possible depending on where you are, the cab is in Somerset) Cheers. Steve
  14. Hi all. Up for grabs is my left handed 4 string Warwick Corvette Standard, ash body, passive electronics, ovangkol neck with wenge board. Hardly used and near mint condish, it never gets picked over my bubinga/active Corvette! Message me for more photos/info etc. £300 to include delivery.
