1. Hello basschatters! For sale a Japanese ESP, for less money than a Korean/Indonesian LTD!! All in all, this is a quality instrument, very fast and comfortable neck, truly low action and best value for money without doubt! I'm looking for 600£ inc. shipping(new price is 1535£ @ GAK, 1425£@ Millennium Music), or pick up in Glasgow/Fort William/Oban. 2. Hi folks!! I'm thinking of replacing the stock electronics in my ESP bass that has got Seymour Duncan SSB4 passive soapbars, but I have no ideas what would be the ideal replacement. 3 band active EQ, volume, balance. I need great versatility, main genres are rock and all kind of metal, but occasionally play acoustic jams with an acoustic band, and some reggae. Mostly I play fingerstyle, very rarely use pick (I've been working on it though), so I need high output. Please help me with your ideas, how could I achieve big growl with high output, but have versatility on the other hand! I need a good preamp! Give me your recommendations please!! Cheers! \m/
3.
The neck is the same pretty much as my SRX720 i got, just slightly 'deeper' but absolutely destroys the Ibanez in terms of feel, weight, fluidity etc. You can just tell it's lovingly crafted! and the srx720 is a proper beauty aswell (i'm also putting that for sale on here soon aswell) If you were serious and live near me (Windsor) you can try it out.
PM sent cheers
4. I've just read over this confusing story. Great that it ended well, I can't imagine what Don and Marty went through Again, nice to hear that it turned out like it did, but it could have happened differently...the courier didn't give a f**k what will happen with a 1K parcel. Seems to me that anyone could pick up your package. Anyone from the street or who would be there at the moment. The courier just needed "a" signature quickly, doesn't matter from who, just someone sign it and "my job's done, let me go". In my opinion the way the courier handled the package is simply unacceptable and should be investigated even if the package popped up at the end. I am desperately searching for a right bass now here on bc, but in my case posting will be inevitable, as I live in the middle of nowhere, in the Highlands. After reading this case, I realised I'll definitely need to be very careful and cautious with the couriers. Any courier company recommendations here in UK guys?? Any experience about a reliable company? Anyway Marty, be happy with your bass now and best wishes. Bass looks fantastic btw sorry abt poor English guys :S
5. Damned metal beast Looks damn good. Interests me...I was never lucky enough to take a look at a Japanese ESP though, but I guess these instruments are well-crafted, rock-solid monsters. I neither played on an ESP/LTD neck. How is the neck-profile of this one compared to an Ibanez SR neck? I like the slim neck of my friend's Ibanez SR500. Did you use it for recording too?? Did you use this bass on the recording of the "Conclusion Of An Age" album? Keep on thrashing mate, your music destroys!! cheers
6.
The bass has gone back to the shop If only you had registred and posted yesterday!!
What a pity!!! sooooo disappointed argghhhh
7. Hello guys, Hello Iam! As you can see I am newbie on this forum, I registered just because this bass! Jesus this bass looks simply stunning mate!! I guess sound is fabulous too. In fact I am quite beginner on bass, but I want to start on a decent instrument, I dnt want to throw out 3-400 quid for a bass that is good sounding but doesn't possess real value... Now this bass is just stunned me and now I can't decide between this and a Fender Precision Plus (PJ). But at the moment this one is ahead. I prefer the maple neck of this one (the Fender is with rosewood), and the MM pickups...mmmmmm I started on a Peavey Millennium back at home, I want to make a step or two upward Is the body alder or ash??? If I know well it is European ash, but I am not sure. And it comes with Sandberg's own pickup instead of Delanos right? Anyway I am seriously considering this bass now Will you post it?? I am afraid I could not pick it up, I live in the middle of nowhere CHEERS from Highlands
