You'll never know what you will find on ebay. -
I have Vox Amplug Bass.

Don't know how they compare with the amps said before. But they are great for me. -
Very good read. Thanks for the info.

It's always handy to have a 5er.
-
Was able to try it just now. It's awesome. Love how it handles the low. But not as loud as the ampeg as they say. And the shop was a bit overpricing. Blehhhhh
Did this come to mind when anyone else saw him?
If this guy spent as much time practicing to clean up his sloppy playing (attack, tone, timing, note selection etc etc etc) as he does straightening his hair and making sure his hat is at the correct 'jaunty' angle, he might actually become an alright bass player.
However, it looks unlikely that he would ever choose to practice instead of blowing himself pretentious kisses in the mirror and increasing his already sizeable ego.
P.s. Just listened to his Cee Lo Green and his bass is out of tune.

LOL I was trying to be polite on my first post though. But I have to say the choice of notes is not that bad. Just the timing and how he plays it. And I must say this, the tone is horrible. -

What do you think of his playing?
I saw this vid and heard a lot of reactions (negative and positive) about his playing.
Personally I'd say he's playing good, but sometimes a bit too much. Less is more.
How about you guys? -
Oh my D: GAS attack. Always wanted this bass and an Atelier Z.
And Bump for this post. -
I have a similar thread http://basschat.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=115626
But still looking for a shop that have this to try though. No luck yet. -

I'm on this aswell as my current one is dying on me. -
Poor little thing. What did it do to deserve such "customization"?
And if you haven't seen that one before....

me wants his/her bass. X3 but certainly not him/her -
that's..... tiny

I guess I really need to try it out first.
Tone wise, are they quite similar? -
I want my 70's jazz bass to have a humbucker instead of a single coil on the bridge position.
-
I'm considering the Ashdown in-terms of price, but I only tried the Ampeg, which I really am inlove with. The problem is I can't seem to find a store with an Ashdown to try.
So any inputs about the two are gladly appreciated. -
Nice Bacchus! too bad it isn't for you.
-
Here's something different(might not be everyone's cup of tea). This is a song from my country.
I managed to find a clip on YouTube with an english subs for it.
-
I just want to share this inspirational playing of his. -
You said you run your bass through your computer usually? Don't you have atleast an EQ on whatever software you are using? Just go have a play with it. There are too many factors to consider.

Thanks!

Can Anyone Recognize This Bass?

I know it's a discontinued Yamaha(not even sure about the discotinued part), but that's about it. It sounds gorgeous.
