All gone...wow very quick, well worth the 7 quid listing fee. Thanks guys, Dan :)

  2. Can't find a manual unfortunately. Suggests 2ohms in stereo here; http://www.qscaudio.com/products/amps/plx/plx.htm so I assume it'll be ok.

Band have got two Peavy Hysis 1xt's and two 115xt's - all 4ohm cabs. So unless anyone can tell me otherwise, it seems I can run the tops off one channel and the subs off the other?

  3. Nostalgically I like Oasis. They're the band I grew up through my teens with, but Liam is now just a comedy caricature of himself.

In fact if I hadn't heard of Beady Eye I'd honestly think they were some sort of piss-take of oasis. His vocals are horrendous now and it's a bit disappointing that the band are made up of members of fairly decent past bands, yet can't seem to find a tune between them.

All the while Liam keeps announcing a random controversial brain-fart every fortnight to keep them in the public eye. Garbage.

    You could try these people:

    http://www.proaudioe...hull/yorkshire/

I should make it clear that I have no experience of them or their service. :)

I'd go with real electronics as others have said they're an authorised Markbass service centre. I think these proaudio guys mainly do DJ/PA stuff.

  5. Wow, a lot of hate for stuff on here. Maybe it was all broken! ;)

I know Carlsbro are about as fashionable as Noel Edmonds, but the ones I've used in rehearsal dives etc I could always get a good solid if basic tone out of. Also Ashdown have a hell of an artist roster, so they must be doing something right, no?

Not heard too many people comment on important factors such as reliability, value for money and sufficient volume for the wattage - are people mistaking 'not to my taste' as 'bad'?

Pm'd again, no reply - is this still available?
Sorry was about to update, the amp is now sold. Didn't get your pm, you sure it sent?

  7. Yes I've seen these with both the top handles and the side one's - perhaps that's down to what they have at time of build. I like the top handles for avoiding the old 'knuckle grazes' on door frames ;)

  8. I'm fairly certain ebay doesn't actually have access to messages sent between members. I'm not sure it's ethically correct for them to be able to snoop on their users PM's, so I doubt they would find out from them unless one party 'grassed' and forwarded the message to ebay themselves.

Between them, ebay and paypal take nearly 15% these days, so rightly or wrongly it doesn't surprise me one bit that people cancel sales or end items early to sell them unofficially.

just looking at the pics of your amp its in a different cab to mine, it looks like its in a ctm100 box i guess it has a smaller footpront which is cool, mine is the size of a 2x10!

Hmmm, not sure. I did try one in a shop before I ordered mine and I don't recall any difference. Mine measures 35cm front to back, how does that compare with yours?
