[b]Hi Guys, I have a spare pick up for sale; it fits a Musicman Stingray 5 string bass, or any other Musicman 5 string bass, or anything else you may wish to fit it to.... Model Seymour Duncan SMB-5D so it is the hotter ceramic pick up that they advertise as being more suited to rock, metal, punk etc etc...[/b] Direct replacement for the Musicman SR5 but it is the one without the dummy coil (they don't make the ceramic version with the dummy coil, just the alnico version) so it's supposed to be for pre 1992 basses with a single pick up and the three position selector switch, however you can use it on later ones with a small change in the wiring configuration which makes it sound awesome, but the centre position (single coil) is slightly quieter than the other positions..... Fantastic used condition but no screws or springs included, you can just use your old ones! Just put my old one back in that's why it's up for sale, it does actually sound better than my original Musicman one but I'd like to keep the bass original. Over £100 new I believe nowadays but I'll take £50 cash, plus the registered postage. I'm bumping this due to price drop - you all know how good this is, so somebody get there hands in their pocket and treat themselves to a quality amp, it's currently cluttering up my front room!!

Nice rig and big sound for anyone that need something big.[/quote] Yeah, thanks - it sounds massive, but to be honest it's not that big and heavy really, especially when compared to some Ampeg gear, and you have the advantage of being able to just take the combo to small gigs and adding the cab for bigger gigs. I just got the chance for a reasonably priced AH100 12 head and decided I would prefer separates.

Hi Guys, Got a new bass rig so I'm selling my GP12 SMX 15" combo and I have a flight case for it for sale separately - I'm now looking for around £100.00 ono Internal diameter is 62cm wide x 34cm deep x 59cm high (same as the Trace!) - That's measured from the inside of the foam so the Combo sits snug with lots of protection and it will probably fit a few other combos or speakers too but you'll need to measure it. As far as I know it will fit all the GP7 and GP12 Trace Combos with the 15" speaker configurations (dunno about the 2 and 4 x 10"?) but best to measure it just to be on the safe side!! The flight case has had light/medium use so the inside is in very good overall condition but there is some marks around the outside of the case and superficial rust on the metal corners and catches of the outside where the case has been stored in a damp environment in the past but no serious or structural damage whatsoever. As you can see, it has a good set of wheels also! I'm in Central London near Liverpool Street Station. Cheers! Andi 07974 241840

Hi Guys! Just upgraded to a new Trace AH100 -12 Head and Ampeg SVT 18 Cabinet (I wanted separates instead of a combo) so I'm now looking to sell for £425.00 ono as I have listed it on ebay for this price. It's a fantastic sounding set up as you probably already know, and it's in really good condition. One of the last ones they made in the 90's before they closed down for 10 years or so. I'm not entirely convinced that the new Trace head I've bought to replace it sounds as good but it's a bit late now anyway. I am also looking for an Ampeg SVT 410 HLF cab (the 500 watt 4 ohm one, not the HE version) so I may be willing for a part ex or trade - I don't mind if the cab is a bit tatty as long as it's in perfect original working order... I also have a separate matching Trace Elliot 300 watt 1518 cabinet for sale, it is in really good order and sounds terrific, especially when you pair it up with the combo - Looking for around £150.00 ono, or again, consider a deal on a SVT 410 HLF... AND..... I also have a full Packhorse flight case for the GP12 SMX combo (or other similar Trace combo's, or anything else that will fit it) for which I am looking for around £110.00.
