  1. im buying my first bass and i have already got it down to 2 bass brands but 4 different basses its either a musicman stingray, musicman bongo (love the shape), fender jazz or fender presision. however the sound im after is important because i dont want to spend all my money and find out it doenst match my style, i like to play slap and pop mostly so if theres any help you can give me it would be gladly appriciated
  2. its got to be dr high beam strings 40-105 there awesome iv played them on a classic 70s fender and on my warwick and i swear by them they are the best strings ever!
  3. hi mcnach you left a reply on my post the advise you left about buying a stingray was really useful as i had had my eye on one for a while also the band you named is that a red hot chilly peppers tributet band i love red hot chilly pepper that is pure musical taste if you could get back to me that would be great
  4. Funky can mean a lot of different things from 70's Fender Jazz through to Ken Smith. Actually, there's a really nice Ken Smith 5 for sale for 900 quid. I think its outstanding value for money. the type of funky i meant was like marcus miller/ victor wootan
  5. Is it 900 for just the bass or plus a rig? sorry not to sure what you mean by rig if you mean amp iv already got one
