  1. Yes I did 😁 too late to go back now I’ve just traded the ABM for the RM500 with matching cabs! Sounded great in the shop! Let’s hope I can replicate it at this Sunday’s gig😊
  2. Well the gig went well but the ABM did not work well with the BB2. The sound was too scooooooped!! Back to the drawing board.
  3. Hi There, What cabs did you use with the RM500?
  4. I hope you're right. I have a small pub gig this Saturday night and will try the Ashdown with the BB2 and see what it's like. Thanks EliasMooseblaster for the reassurance.
  5. I have a dilemma please can anyone help or advise. I am yearning for that old school fat warm valve sound I used to get from my TE AH250 and 4 x 10 and 1 x 15 Peavey cabs back in the 80's. I have been using Aguilar stuff more recently but have decided after many hours of reading to go with Ashdown. I have always liked the tone of the Evo 500 stuff. So i have gone out and bought me an Ashdon ABM 600 evo IV head. My plan was to get the ABM 210T and ABM 115H compact cabs to go with it. However this is where I need your help. I acquired a Ashdown ABM 210T Compact and just by putting it away in the garage my back has started to complain. I am now thinking of using the Ashdown head with a Barefaced BB2 i have. Do you think I will get the sound I am looking for or do I need to get a trolly for the compact cabs?
  6. For sale only. No trades now sorry. Roqsolid cover included. Barefaced Big Baby II Generation 3 in excellent condition, perfect working order & sounds mega. Looks perfect! - there is a very tiny scratch surface only which i have touched up.no dents or scrapes in the metal. I've only gigged this cab once and since then it has been in my home studio so not been worked hard at all. I am back on rock bass guitar duties I find myself wanting a more "classic sounding" rig so it's time to move this baby on. I can now post out as I have a sturdy box & packaging for this cheers'
  7. No longer desperate to sell so back to original selling price which is still an absolute bargain IMHO.😁
  8. Richard, If you're after a nice P Bass you don't need to spend loads of money. Get yourself a Nate Mendel Signature P Bass. If you love Jazz necks this P bass will suit you. Not as narrow at the nut but definitely slim enough.
  9. I don't have the bass to hand right now so can't give accurate measurements. I don't have the original neck it was sold with another project. I would say the bass is reasonably lightweight around 3.5-4.0kgs Neck width is around the 15/8 or 42mm at the nut. I will double check tonight when I'm back at the ranch. I'm based in Walsall West Midlands WS2. 2 minutes from Junction 10 of the M6
  10. Hi thank you for pointing this out. As i said i bought the bass from a Basschatter earlier this year. here is the link to his ad with full spec.
