Total Watts

1. Thanks for your replies... Excuse the delay but I was out all day yesterday. I've just measured the cab and including handles and corners it's: 87cm tall 54cm wide 38.5 cm deep According to my bathroom scales (!) it's about 23 kilos, but that's without the 2 x 10" bass drivers, which the Eminence blurb says are 4 kilos each, so total would be about 30 kilos. Having lugged it around on gigs, I'd have estimated it was slightly less than that, so my scales may not be too accurate in that range. If it's any use to anyone further afield than London, I'll be in Cardiff tomorrow (Weds 19th) and in Bristol (Thurs 20th) so could put it in the back of the van if anyone wants to collect from my gigs. Long shot I realize! Cheers.
2. No response so far.... so in order to help get my cupboard-under-the-stairs emptied, I've rashly reduced the asking price to an insanely insubstantial £100. No offers at this price thank you!! If still no takers after a week or two, I'll be dismantling for spares (crossovers, mid-range driver, tweeter, L-Pad, corners, handles) which I'll store until some keen constructor in the (hopefully )not-too-distant future reads this thread and decides to make me an offer... Remember that all that's needed as of now, is two Eminence BP102 (8 Ohm) drivers to restore it to it's original BFM glory. Cheers.
3. Yes! Available for audition/collection in London NW10. Thanks.
4. Reluctantly I'm selling my Omni 12 which I put together a year or two ago as per Bill's plans. I built it in the 2 x 10" variant using Eminence BP102 10" drivers (8Ohms each wired in parallel to give a 4 Ohm cab), and it sounds great. Being an organ player, I needed full range, so it has the mid range horn and HF tweeter options, though I fitted an variable L-pad (volume control) in line with the tweeter. I made a pretty good job of the woodworking, and used top-notch crossover components, and good plywood and fitments/fittings etc. I was pretty chuffed with the result, but have come to the conclusion that I'm really better off with a separate sub/tops arrangement as the high stuff wasn't reaching the audience too well.... Soooo... I've removed the drivers and built myself a sub. Now the Omni is missing it's two 10" drivers, but is otherwise complete. That's right.... whoever buys the cab will need to fit two new drivers as I'm keeping the old ones in my new sub. If that hasn't put you off please have a look at the pics. Everything else is there... the mid range speaker and tweeter, the handles, corners, crossovers etc etc. All that's required is two new BP102 drivers (8 Ohms each). this is a bit of a gift for anyone contemplating building one of these great cabs, or anyone who's already got one and wants to go stereo . Overall condition is very good give or take the odd ding and scrape, and as I roller painted it in that black tuff-cab stuff, it can be kept looking good indefinitely. Obviously, since it's missing it's bass drivers I can't really demo the cab, so I'm letting it go cheaply for [s]£150[/s] NOW £100 as-is. This is cheaper than it would cost to build it yourself (crossover components cost me about £60, wood was £25, corners and handles £15- £20, L-pad £10, midrange and tweeters £50 plus sockets, wiring, paint and about a week of graft in the shed.. If I have no takers, I'll remove/reuse/recycle all the bits and dispose of the wooden cab, but I'd much prefer to see someone using it as nature intended. Cash on collection from London NW10 please. Hope this appeals to someone, and thanks for taking the time to read through this waffle! Cheers, Pete
5. Hartke LH500 head [s]for sale[/s]. Excellent cosmetically and functioning perfectly. I was using it to power my Bill Fitzmaurice Omni 12 Tallboy cab, which I am also advertising here in a separate ad.... Available for collection ONLY (sorry no postage) from London NW10 (Dollis Hill). Asking £200 for the amp, and I'll throw in a 2U rackbag if sold to a Basschatter. Cheers, Pete NOW SOLD! Thanks for reading....
