  1. Well you can certainly record and playback using the R16 standalone. Whether or not it's usable for mixing will depend on quite how much, and what, you want to do, mainly because the small LCD screen is fiddly, at best. IMO, YMMV etc.

Download the user manual - see what you reckon ?

    P.S. it's a fantastic bit of kit - wouldn't be without mine.

  2. But do you know that the location (or administrative address etc) of your service providers POP, that you were connected to at that time, wasn't there?

IMO it's one of those things that developers see as "k3wl", but in reality it's pretty pointless.

Whether certain fields are visible or not is down to the browser window size. It automatically scales. That's why it's the same page for mobile or desktop.

If on desktop you make the window small enough it will change to "mobile view".

    Ah. I see now. Cheers.

Also, in the old software you could see the OPs "location". Now you need to actually go into their profile page to see it.

I don't think it's as simple as that. I'm currently using a laptop with IE, and can see locations (when they're there...) without having to delve into profiles. However, despite seeing several statements from admins etc that there are no longer different mobile and full/desktop sites, my own experience is different, when I'm using different devices (desktop/mobile/tablet) and browsers. I don't see locations on my phone.

  5. Really?

Looking at the Ashdown 4x8 ad, on the 1st page, as an example - I can't see a price anywhere.

FWIW I'm using an Amazon Fire tablet, with the default Silk browser, and I've tried both the desktop and mobile view.

Edit:  just tried Opera...no different.  I'll get a laptop out, and give that a go.

Edit:  OK - I've tried Firefox and Chrome on Windows, and it's working. Tried the default browser on my Samsung (Android) phone, and the price is still not showing. Tried Firefox on the phone, and the price is there.

    Looks like it's a browser thing :(

  6. Apparently, as I've been looking at cameras and stuff lately, I should also be interested in food mixers and other kitchen gadgets that I didn't even know existed.

An egg boiler that looks like a chicken FFS!
