Using the Two10 in 4ohm mode and with the One10 in 8ohm gives you a load of 2.7ohm

If you set the amp to 2ohm that will be fine to use them all together.

And the 4ohm 210 will get 2x the power of the 8ohm 110, so it'd be distributed equally across the 3 drivers.

I kinda of guessed that the ' clean ' bit was about running bass guitar through heavy overdrive or distortion pedals, rather than blasting the amp volume into distortion.

    I could be wrong

As we're talking about the signal being sent to the cab, does it matter if any distortion is from an overdriven amp or a pedal?

    I suspect not.

??? I only see 12'' and 10'' based cabs in the lineup.

The original 1x15 Compact was discontinued when the Gen3 cabs came along.

Still got mine, and it ain't going anywhere.

True - but compressing a sine wave will change the amplitude (volume) but shouldn't impact the frequencies (i.e. the pitch)? I mean YT clips generally don't sound out of tune or pitch-shifted compared to a Spotify recording. I'm sure someone will be along shortly to correct me if I've got that wrong.

Besides, I was adjusting for amplitude in any case by altering the volume as I was going along anyway.

I reckon he's talking about lossy audio compression, not dynamic range compression.

Depends on the band, and anyway bass speakers/cabs these days are far more efficient than was the case 50 years ago. I've gigged 50w quite happily.

I've done loads of pub gigs with a Carlbro TC60 into a BF Compact. Guess it depends on the band/genre though - most pub bands are waaay too loud IMO...
