    Filth

Blackstar HT-DISTX Pure valve filth pedal, cost new £100, as new £40 plus postage.
  3. Can anybody point me in the right direction for Phil Collins "Going back" tab, I'm just in that sort of mood?
  4. VOX AD30VT Guitar Amp, new tube, unmarked, original box and packaging, £50 plus carriage. Note this is a Guitar Amp (not bass)
  5. Beginners question.....Can anyone point me to the TAB for Reflections by Diana Ross? I've almost got it from watching Jason Long on you tube, but he seems to have a " lazy finger" that keeps throwing me. I've searched everywhere on the web and can't find anything. Thanks!
  6. I have searched before asking " honest" What gizmo do I need ( except my wife's i-pod ) to enable me to play tracks into the auxiliary input of the amp, something more sophisticated than a battery powered i-pod?
  7. Thanks for the replies and the assurances. I suppose I've been practicing my day job everyday for thirty years without realising it. Thinking about it, if someone interrupts my sales patter (equivalent to walking into the room when I'm playing the guitar) or I actually listen to myself, when I'm speaking (equivalent to not concentrating) it throws me all off balance as well. So onwards and upwards!!!
  8. I know there is probably no answer to this but here goes. How can I overcome nervousness. I am new to the bass and at the moment only play to myself in front of the computer, but the minute anyone comes into the room to watch I go to pieces. In my day job I have meetings in top boardrooms, meet and have discussions with all types of people including top celebs etc. and have no problem at all, but the minute I pick up the guitar................. Why is this?
  9. I couldn't bring myself to drill holes in my "beloved" so got these stick-on rubber pads from B&Q. Put 2 near the neck and 2 near the bridge (work great £1.99)

    Hi all

Just a quick introduction. I'm new to the bass guitar, but have already found it's the instrument for me after searching for over 30 years. I'm 59 and only just realised that I naturally hear bass when listening to music. I have already sent shivers down my spine playing along to some of my teenage idols, Stevie Wonder, Marvin Gaye, Temptations etc. So it's never to late to start learning. I've got a few questions to ask but will do some searching of the forum before wasting anyone's time. Thanks for reading! Regards Beyond
