My boss says I can only play one bass at a time so I only need one bass☹
I am willing to offer to store and look after any lightweight 5 string jazz if it would help with your storage problems

Could you please tell me the weight, does it have any markings on the neck as I have yet to play a fretless bass

I'm sure the Doctor, who is also a woman, will agree with my wife!

I don't need to join the challenge, my wife says I cannot have any more gear

I usually get a brain fart before starting a song. Once the band start I usually remember......usually

bit more expensive but the Roland Micro Bass Cube. +1 for the blues

I first picked up a bass guitar at the age of 49. Never looked back. I shall never be a professional but you cannot beat the buzz you get playing with other musisions and creating music. When asked "What do you play" my reply is "anything from Adele to ZZ Top as long as we can play it!". I have played live and it an awesome experience. Making mistakes is part of the fun and no one really notices. ( just glare at the guitarist and roll your eyes). Just be careful of the gas. It will get you!

Just double checked, it's electro accoustic
-
Why have you put this back up again?
Still no spare money but a lot of gas
-
Hi. Do electric bass strings work well on a semi accoustic bass. I have a set of round wound fender electric strings spare and wish to replace the brass accoustic ones on my fender accoustic bass.Your thoughts please

Checked in around and under the sofa and the bank. Nope, nothing, just have to keep on dreaming. May be there is a bass fairy who can help.....

This is the only bass I have had and I am very happy with it. We have progressed together. I think a decent set up and some tlc may fix some of the issues. Can anyone recommend a good luthiers near KINGS LYNN West Norfolk

Thanks for your replies. I will try to find a good luthier

Hi. I would like to upgrade my G&L2500 tribute how do I go about it. Do I fit better humbucker pickups, better machine heads or bridge?. I have started to get a lot unwanted noises. I have had the bass 8 years. Is it likely to be wearing out at this age? Or should I just get a new one?

Just the one I've been after but no spare cash at the moment. Good luck with the sale

Bass, Amp and cab. Anything else and I'm confused. I've set up for a sound I like and left it alone

I tried a Behringer amp head thru a Bugera 410 cab. Looked wuite like the Markbass cab ported at bottom. Amp had a nice clean sound. Not muddy and not too clinical either. All in all the Bugera cab sounded good and even coped with the octaver on the amp when i tried it.
At the price they are not a bad amp and cab set up.
Dave
Thanks for your reply. Will certainly consider although I would want to try first

I'll have a look. I did a search on here and it came up with nothing found!

Hi. I have been looking for a combo amp and came across Bugera. I have not heard of them but they have a 1000w valve amp through a 1x15 speaker for around £355. Is this a good deal and are they reliable and above all delivery good quality sound. Has anyone any experience of them

Beautiful. Just moved house so unless you are willing to accept 24 months interest free credit I'm scuppered. Good luck with the sale
